Definitely one of the biggest highlight of our trip to Japan!

Scott was so friendly and open, and answered all our questions about food and life and everything in between. We went when it was raining heavily and luckily Andy prepared umbrellas at the beginning of the tour, so we could borrow an extra one.

The food stops were very well-selected and some of them also included a drink, so by the end of the night we were completely stuffed. Couldn't stress enough how much we enjoyed our time, and we particularly loved the fact that the food stops were clearly local and authentic, and the people who run this tour knows their stuff! I would be happy to pay extra to make this an even longer tour, as I'd love to see what other street food they may have recommended (although maybe with an hour break from eating so we can have more space in our stomachs!).

Thankyou Andy for an amazing night of food and drink! We literally stuffed ourselves with all the dishes we had. Andy was a wonderful host-fluent in Japanese and just alot of fun. He gave us history as well as a truly Osakan experience. Barbarian chicken was so delicious-do not skip that dish.
It was truly worth the money for this tour. Andy was even very helpful in giving us ideas about other things to do. Don't miss this!

Andy was a great guide, the food was all delicious, with lots of variety. The venues were cool as was the walk and history between. Plenty of food throughout the whole night, you will go home stuffed! Had a great crew from around the world and we all ended up out and about drinking in Osaka after. We recommend this tour and think it was good value. Cheers Andy from Daniel & Amanda

Andy was a terrific host for our street food tour in Osaka. He was very conscientious of everyone’s needs and was awesome at communicating exactly what to expect throughout the tour. The street food was very tasty and I even enjoyed the octopus, which was a first for me! He was also very helpful in answering questions about local history and life in Japan. We were lucky to meet some other great couples on our tour and grabbed some drinks afterward. Safe travels to everyone - back to Hong Kong, Australia, and US. Congratulations Jordan and Megan (if you see this)! Overall a wonderful way to experience a fun evening in Osaka. Highly recommend.

Joined the tour on 6/25. It was a very fun tour. Good food and company. A lot to eat. There were more food than just a tasting. We went to places that I would never have found or dared to try without Scott. I had some of the best fried chicken and udon I've ever had. Both Scott and Andy are great fun tour guides.

Oh my gosh what a fun evening. First of all great communication on where to meet and who to meet. We met up with another family and we all very quickly got along. Andy was funny interactive and full of great information. We visited multiple places that if we had been on our own we would never have stopped at. The food was excellent - and the non fish fans in our group got great substitutes. There were 2 drinks included but drinks at the other places were just 500 yen. At the end of the tour we met up with the other group at the last place - very fun exchanging stories. You will leave laughing and full! They walk you back to a train station so you can find your way home.
They also go above and beyond- I had left my purse (with my passport!!) at the 2nd to last restaurant. Andy immediately called the restaurant found out they had my purse (with my passport) behind the bar. He walked us back there to pick it up!
I cannot recommend this tour enough!! it was tons of fun and great food!!

The best foodie experience in Osaka so far! Our tour guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable about the food and culture. The experience was that much better because he has developed great relationships with the vendors and we were treated like friends every place we went. Well done!!

I highly recommend this food tour with Scott. My 16 yr old son raved about the food. We loved EVERYTHING at Johnnys Karaage (going back for lunch). The food/restaurant selections are fair representations of the local cuisine. Sample sizes are also fair. My favorite was udon and udin at the last stop. The broth was the best I’ve ever tasted. If I could bathe in it I would. It’s that good. I’ve done several food tours in US Europe Asia and this by far was one of the best. I would do this tour again.
