The museum was amazing. It’s fun to learn about and see the old sculptures. It’s incredible how they were created.

Easy to find the meet up spot and great instructions with the host taking us in and skipped the long line. Make sure you bring a headset for the audio app.

It was very nice to be able to walk past the long line for the Galleria Dell’Accademia and get in quickly. The meeting point was a little confusing, as it is more across the street from the address listed than at the address itself. Overall a good and convenient experience.

This was a scam! I paid 33 euros and I could not enter the event. I asked for a refund to Viator and they denied it. Do not book your experience with them!

Directions were straight forward, we picked up our tickets and were into the gallery with in 5 minutes. (The casual line was very long).

The guide was late for the tour. He then wasted time on unimportant alter pieces, and did not discuss the actual art or artists, but rather the Italian history. I was very unimpressed as this was not my first visit to the Uffizi. I brought my 25 year old son on the tour and thanks to our own background in Art History, we were able to have our own side conversations about the important pieces, technique, media used and artistic beauty of the pieces. Our guide left out so much and didn’t even take us to all of the prominent pieces in the museum. We had to visit the Titian and Caravaggio on our own. Our guide kept saying, “This, that and the other…” the entire time. He literally had very little say in regards to the actual pieces of art: The tour took longer than needed and he wasted so much time. He was dressed sloppy and was completely disheveled; having said that, he gave us a very low quality tour. I do not recommend this tour at all, as the guide was boring and unenthusiastic. My son and I are very well educated, and the two hours we spent in the Uffizi were just a waste of time with him.

Was disappointed that our tour guide could not find him in the Square where he said he was going to be called/emailed and got a new person on phone said that he did not know Manuela Toran, but he had our tickets so we got our tickets and no guide.

On the upside, the meeting point was clear. On the downside, it was not clear who to find. The street in front of Accademia Gallery was absolutely jammed with people. I approached several people holding clipboards and found the correct company on my third try. He handed us our tix and we were on our own. The museum was "backed up," so there wasn't a queue yet for the time assigned us. We floated in the crowd for perhaps 20 minutes before someone posted a sign with our entry time on it.
The backup is not the fault of Florence with Locals, so I'm not complaining about their service. It's just a warning that it can be chaotic despite having tickets already. Once we were finally in line it moved quickly. And those who did not have skip-the-line ticket had been waiting hours to get in. We visited on May 21, 2024 and our tickets were for 17:00.

Arrived early to exchange voucher as per email instruction. Area around Galleria Academia was so crowded. Went to given place beside Carrefour Express. Could not find shop, as we thought, to exchange voucher. Thanks to another tourist we realised it was just some guy on street. He had no identification of any sort to signal that he was the person we needed. At one point we thought we had been scammed before we found him. Absolute mess. Would never again recommend Viator. Also paid €33 each and entry price at venue was €20 so hefty mark up. First time to use Viator on the bases that it was a TripAdvisor company.
