My sister and I went on a last minute tour in osaka as we were not sure what to do. We are glad we went as we got to learn how to make takoyaki and we got a fun yet educational guide on sake and choosing the right one for you. As someone who barely drinks this tour was very fun and I got to trade in my drinking coins for some suveniors which helped :) loved that!! Thanks to MOMO for being a great host! You can easily see how passionate and dedicated she is to her trade! Bonus: she is located in the heart of osaka downtown. So afterwards head out and enjoy the nightlights! Thank you!!!

Momoko was amazing. She is truly a sake expert and we learned so much from her. The Takoyaki experience was so fun! Momoko also recommend the observatory tower in Osaka which we explored after our tour. Enjoyed the sake and the Takoyaki - thanks Momoko!

My partner and I finished off our trip in Japan with a visit to the “Osaka Sake Tasting with Takoyaki DIY”.
What a fabulous evening and a great experience.
We would highly recommend the event to anyone over 18yrs.
We had a such lovely host (Momoko) who was so attentive and knowledgeable about Sake (flavours, blends, strengths and alcohol levels).
Great fun making and eating Takoyaki (Beef & Octopus options) with the choice of eight Sake tastings from a range of twelve different blends.
A must visit and experience, if in Osaka.

Momoko is an amazing host and made us feel like we were old friends coming into town from abroad! She speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable on the subject of Sake. We purchased a takoyaki grill off Amazon after our experience and we plan on bringing her lessons with us back home. Thank you Momoko!

This experience was wonderful from start to finish. Momoku was waiting for us outside the meeting place to make sure we found it. She was warm and friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. She did a fantastic job sharing her knowledge of Sake and teaching us how to make takoyaki. You could not find a better activity for you time in Osaka!

Wonderful experience! Momoko is a kind and cheerful local Osaka girl, passionate about Sake (actually called Nihonshu 日本酒 in Japanese!) and takoyaki. She patiently guided us through making our own authentic takoyaki (which was very oishi!). Following a thorough introduction to the world of sake, we were able to choose and taste from a wide variety of different sake types and decide which one we like the most. After this class, you will feel much more confident walking into a sake shop to look for the bottle you want

It was a very nice experience and I would definitely recommend it. Momoko was very friendly and warm. It was easy to talk to her and she was able to tell me a lot about sake (nihonshu) and answer all my questions. I tried 10 different sake.
Making the okonomiyaki myself was also worth it and went very well together.
It was really a lot of fun :)

If you want a sake (nihonshu) sommelier to learn about the favorite Japanese drink this is by far the best use of your time in Osaka. I signed up for morning session and ended up alone but it allowed me to learn a lot & ask plenty of questions.
The takoyaki was super cool/fun to make and the host is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. 10/10 even if not a fan and are more interested in the Takoyakii
