Ran by @guidemejapan on instagram. Kyoto is one of the most famous spots to visit in Japan. Therefore, during the day, it is hard to see everything peacefully. In this tour, we start early to beat the crowds! We visit Fushimi-Inari Shrine, Kinkakuji, and Arashiyama.

➡️This is WALKING tour that uses public transportation. This is not a bus tour. This tour requires about 12,000 walking steps.
➡️The tour is APPROXIMATELY 5.5 hours, meaning it can differ by around 30 minutes before or after the estimated time.
➡️Our guide will contact you through what's app so please download what's app prior to this tour. This is to enhance smooth meeting between the guide and the guests.
➡️As we have other groups in the tour, we cannot accept any late guests. If you are late, YOU CANNOT JOIN the tour and will not be given a refund.

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Kyoto. Santa, our guide, was very knowledgeable, kind and from Gion. Would highly recommend Santa for any tour. Thank you for hurding us through Kyoto! You were spectacular!

Had a great trip with Hana several weeks ago. She easily navigated us through all the public transit we took, answered a ton of questions we had about Japan (it was our first time in Japan and on a tour), and communicated clearly ahead of the tour. She also took our photo a few times which was really nice. All in all it was really fun. One note - we did the 7:45am tour on a weekday and the shrine (which we saw first) was still jam packed, the earlier you go the less hectic the sights are likely to be.

We had a great time on this half-day tour of the Golden Temple, Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and Bamboo Forest. Our guide, Ramu, was the best! She managed to make the experience 100% stress free and manageable in the July heat and amongst the crowds. We were super impressed with how well she curated the day - providing detailed information about the sites as we effortlessly moved from point to point, and even treating us to a quick café break for a cold drink! Best of all, we had fun! These multi-stop tours can sometimes be overwhelming (and occasionally a little dry). Ramu is a natural at providing just the right amount of historical and cultural insight at each stop along the way. Highly recommend!!!

Learning about the history behind the temples and points of interest was very educational, and Hiro was very knowledgeable and thorough with the information he shared. We learnt a lot and would recommend this tour.
The meeting point at Kyoto station was a bit challenging as it’s a rather big station and depending on where you get dropped off it could be a mission to locate the actual meeting point. We felt it would have been better to have a meeting point at a nearby central location, such as the hotel across the road, which would be much easier to find.

This experience was fantastic. Kotaro led us through an incredible day of Japanese sight-seeing, and despite the blistering summer heat, we had a blast. He expertly explained Japanese culture and history, was prompt and kept us on time for public transportation, and catered to all our needs for breaks, etc. I could not have asked for a better guide - - Kotaro is enthusiastic and takes great pride in Japan. It was a wonderful day.

Kotaro was amazing. I can say that from about 7 different tours we took this trip. Kotaro was the most thoughtful, knowledgeable and prepared.
He knew and was fascinated by the history that he was telling more like a storytelling instead of just saying facts. He had a bag for trash which I thought was amazing.
The destinations were beautiful and by far the Golden castle was the best.
