These tickets were just for entrance to the cathedral which was under renovation at the time of our visit. We were too tired to hike the 436 steps up to the top of the Duomo. It was nice but nothing special compared to the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica we had seen 2 days before. The real artwork is decorating the outside of the cathedral anyways.

From the summit, the truly amazing panoramic views of the whole city and surrounding area were visible. The manual offered fascinating architectural and historical analysis that enhanced the experience even more. Years to come will undoubtedly make me treasure this experience. Couldn’t find meeting point. Many buildings around piazza. No one we asked directions knew shop. Need a better map and description of meeting point!

The hike up to the terrace was challenging but the breathtaking views at the top made it all worth it. Aldo shared fascinating stories and insights about the history and culture of the area, adding depth to our experience. Not worth the money. Show up 10 minutes ahead of schedule to then wait 15 minutes in fat track line. At and time, normal FREE entrance, took 20 minutes. If the normal line was an 90 minutes or more, makes sense but not on our day

We did the skip the line which is worth it in peak of summer season but there needed to be more attention drawn prior to the need to cover knees before entry. Long shorts were not ok for ladies so we had to spend €20 right there to buy covers. Sadly as well the tour was without any passion. Compared to the tour of the Cathedral in Sienna this was a disappointment.
Pretty from the outside but inside was a let down. Go on the Tuscany in a day tour instead!

The guide I forgot her name, She was amazing. She had alot of knowledge and information about history. We learn alot about Duomo. It is a must do thing preferably with a guide.

Had a great time in Florence. It was the main attraction here and was a wonderful experience to save time by entering with shorter line and got alot of information about its history.

Disappointing. Basically an entry into the cathedral, not even up close to the major works inside. Perhaps just unlucky timing. The cathedral itself is very impressive though.
