Palazzo Vecchio is one of the most important and well-known symbols of Florence and represents a splendid example of medieval civil architecture. When you visit the palace , you will have the opportunity to see the splendid Salone dei Cinquecento, a majestic hall of 54 meters long and 23 meters wide, built in only seven months by Simone del Pollaiolo by will of Girolamo Savonarola. When Cosimo I de Medici was named Duke and settled in the Palazzo Vecchio, he used the Salone dei Cinquecento as a representation hall to receive the ambassadors and the people. The ceiling of the Hall is presented in the form of drawers and is decorated with a series of paintings that celebrate the life of Cosimo I. The statues of the hall represent the “Fatiche di Ercole”, while the Vasari frescoes that decorate the walls represent the successes of cosmoThe Palazzo dei Priori (Palace of Priori) changed its name in the 15th century to Palazzo della Signoria (Palace of the Signoria)

We were scoped by your site. Very disappointing. Tickets the guy who met us said $12 apiece on and we paid $42. Won’t be using you again.

I would not recommend this skip the line tour. First off, there was no line to skip, unlike some of the other tours where there actually is a benefit to buying a tour to beat the walk-up crowds. Anyone could just walk up, buy a ticket, and see the Palazzo Vecchio. The second issue is that we found the Trip Advisor "guide" without any problem. I did not mind that he provided us a link to a website where we could listen to the guided tour on our phones. The problem was that the rooms did not easily match up to the proper audio narration. My family of 5 with 3 young adults should have been able to successfully navigate to which room went with the particular narration. We ended up very confused, as the titles of the written placards in the rooms did not always match up with the titles of the narration. When it did work, we enjoyed the narration and learning about the particular room we were in. But when it did not work, we ended up frustrated and our kids just skipped the audio tour altogether. That being said, we all enjoyed our tour of the Palazzo. I heartily recommend this location. Our kids (17-21), really enjoyed it too.
I would not recommend this tour. I recommend just buying a ticket and enjoying the Palazzo, while reading the extensive reading placards in all the different rooms. If you do buy this tour, remember your headphones!

Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. Read the details. We thought we were buying a tour that included access to the clock tower which seemed like a reasonable expectation for the price after paying the same for a tour of the cathedral. However, this was simply paying twice the entry fee for ‘skip the line” access to the building with no access to the clock tower. And there wasn’t even a line to skip. Plus they were setting up the big room for an event so we were blocked from seeing half of it. A big rip off. Our bad for even purchasing these tickets.

Too expensive compared to the price of entry
Because the contact with the person was brief:
The deposit for bags and showing the entrance...

Product as advertised. Met a friendly employee who spoke English. He checked our reference number then guided us to the entrance. He pointed out the book store and the bathroom, then handed us the tickets. We were free to used the facilities with our ticket, then we had a lovely time with a self-guided tour.
Be aware that if you want an audio guide, you should probably book it in advance, there were none available the day of.

Truly stunning interiors. A must see amongst so many choices. After Uffizi and Accademia, Palazzo Vechio comes in a close third.

It was amazing to book in advance otherwise it was soldout on the day of visit. The line at the counter was huge people were waiting outside the door to get tickets. Our host already had our tickets and took us directly to the entrance point. Recommended if you want to avoid sold out disappointment.

I would recommend booking in advance and not with this company, turned up and just pointed us in the direction to go. Also the tickets are cheaper if you book direct and the line to buy tickets is not that long.
