This private tour will take you into the Arctic wonders, adapting to any condition for a memorable experience!
Overlanding on board of a capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer. Based on weather conditions we will discover the sandy beaches and deep fjords of Kvaløya island or the back country sceneries of the mainland.
Once left the roads we will venture for a scenic walk/light hike (depending on your wishes/level of fitness), reaching untouched landscapes, frozen mountain lakes and breathtaking views.
Whether the ground will be covered in ice or snow you will be provided with the necessary equipment to enjoy this activity: ice crampons, snowshoes, walking poles & thermal suits as well as feet and hand warmers. You will get professional photos from the tour, but if you have a camera, do take it with you!
A warm soup for lunch, cookies & hot drinks for dessert will warm us up while out in the wild. Sounds nice?

I cannot recommend Nico the Arctic Photo Guide enough! We were a family of four with a 8 and 10yo and had a wonderful time hiking up to Tverrfjellet on Kvaløya island with great views at the top. Nico has an extensive knowledge of the area and made the whole trip seem effortless. He even provided hot soup and drinks, which we had once we got down from the mountain as the wind was quite strong that day. This isn't just a regular or average tour, if you go with Nico you get an exclusive adventure tailored to your needs and preferences! We came home with both happy memories and fantastic photos! Wonderful guide - Nico! Very good knowledge and photo skills. Unpredictable weather and able to navigate through it and alter itinerary accordingly.
