I was lucky to take part in this premium experience of Japanese culture.
From the moment you join, you experience the best of Japanese hospitality.
The whole team of professionals in kimono dressing, hair-styling, photography, interpreting and Shinto, everyone made sure we experienced the shrine in a relaxed and private atmosphere.
We went inside the Kagura Hall, then the shrine’s rooms for guests to listen to the distinctive sound of the sho (one of the oldest musical instruments in Japan played at weddings and shrine festivals) while tasting some Japanese traditional sweets and tea, then inside the shrine (which is a space for participants only) for a private ceremony of blessing.
I wish every foreigner traveling or living in Japan could have such experiences to understand and appreciate Japan more deeply.

We had a chance to wear a kimono and enjoy taking photos at a local shinto shrine. Both indoors and outdoors with a lovely photographer who spoke English.

On the top of that, we enjoyed a traditional Japanese green tea and sweets, and also listen to some traditional Japanese music.

Inside the Shrine me and my wife received a Shinto blessing and we tried a Japanese Sake whitch is normally only available for weddings and other special occasions.

I would recommend it for those who are really passionate about Japanese culture and traditions.
