Entrance ticket and Sunday brunch at House of Strauss

We booked this and received confirmation the night before. When we arrived - a 25 min. train ride and 15 min. walk - it was locked up tight. We called and they said they are closed for 2 months

For this year‘s special family Easter Sunday brunch I organized a table at the House of Strauss in-house Casino Kulinarium, followed by a visit to the newly opened multi media exhibition and museum.
Fortified by the well presented and very diverse selection of brunch delicacies, both warm and cold, partly served to the table on pretty etageres ( cake stands ) and some available directly from the buffet, we then enjoyed a most interesting visit to the carefully restored historic Johann Strauss ballroom with half hourly video presentations in English and German, before adjoining to the first floor with its extensive background information and multi media exhibits.
The house of Strauss is a tastefully decorated and opulent Viennese experience focusing on the making of the famous Strauss dynasty who are world renowned from the annual Vienna New Year‘s Day concert televised across the globe.
The popular waltz’s and operetta’s we immediately recognize are a constant background to the museum experience and the multimedia activities are suited to young and old, making it a perfect family activity.
The brunch every Sunday or the restaurant open from 10 am daily other than Monday’s, are a most enjoyable way to kick off or conclude your visit- and I must give an extra mention to the delightful tea garden where you can just enjoy typical Viennese coffee and cake and listen to the soft tones of the most famous waltz.
House of Strauss is easily reached by taking the tram line 37 or D tram or a short walk from the underground station Spittelau ( U4/U6)

I was mesmerized by the place. It was more beautiful than the pictures I had seen online. The ambiance was just amazing, and the hall was beyond wonderful. There is so much to learn from the history of Vienna! It was a great experience to celebrate my birthday!

The minute I walked into the house of Strauss Vienna, I felt like I was stepping into another world. Everything was mesmerizing, my eyes were surrounded by the elegance of everything I was looking at, my ears picked melodies of classical music playing, being a lover of music, this was like heaven to me. Every note, carefully crafted, seemed to tell its own story.

As music filled the place I felt my stomach grumbling, and my nose was instantly drawn to sweet aroma from the food. I could not help it I had to taste every delicious thing before me, With my mouth watering I took my first bite, this is when I knew I was in for a good time. For me food is everything, Each plate was carefully and meticulously prepared by the master chefs, My mouth experienced awesome flavours for the first time in a long time

I traveled into a world of music and food so beautiful that I had never experienced before. The House of Strauss Vienna is the place to be, A place where the harmony of music and the taste of food come together to create an unforgettable experience.

Most amazing views i had encountered there which is impossible for me to forget throughout my life.Photographs evertime reminds me of the wonderful feeling i experienced over there.

I had visited the House of Strauss just yesterday but I couldn't wait to share my experience with those thinking about visiting. The House of Strauss is an amazing tourist spot that preserves it culture of music and teaches its visitors about the magic of music. The employees there were amicable but at the same time they were also professional. The food served were truly exquisite and also unique such as the Wiener Schnitzel which we got to try at the Casino Kulinarium restaurant under head chef Stefan Glantschnig. We also experienced an amazing performance of music which was truly a treat for the ears. I highly recommend all of u considering it to visit The House of Strauss. It was an experience that will be embedded in my memory for the years to come.

I wish you could see the look when I first got into this place. I couldn't even explain to you the feeling of somehow being back in the past, definitely would love to go back with my love soon enough!! would give a 10 to this place so lovely and the peoples are so amazing!

One of the best places I’ve ever seen in my life. The historic place and the flair of Strauss is so impressive.
Just the possibility to seat on one of the originals chairs were Strauss was sitting hundreds of years ago … amazing 🤩.

The people where so friendly and helpful and the brunch was also delicious.

Thanks a lot for the whole team!!!!
