***PLEASE NOTE that only the reservation fee to secure your place is paid through the platform. Then you will pay COP 100,000 per person upon arrival. It will be COP 150,000 for the entire experience. It's about USD 36 in total per person (USD 12 paid here + USD 24 on the day of the experience)***

My friend and I did this empanada class and had the best time! The sisters were so friendly and even though my Spanish isn't very good, we shared a number of jokes. (I did sign up for a Saturday class so that the English translation was available but I didn't need her - Mari - much for translation). 100% recommend taking this class!!!

Naty's place is easy to find and not far from Central Medellin.
I was welcomed to her home and kitchen with a delicious ice-cold beverage. Which was well needed as it was a hot day!
We got to learn how she got started making Empanadas and also some history of the ingredients.
After we were guided, step by step, how to make the fillings, how to knead the dough, and how to shape the Empanadas.
After we all sat around chatting and eating our freshly fried treats.
This is a great way to spend a couple of hours and do something fun and cultural.

This was an awesome experience! Erika and Natalia are super nice, and Natalia is a great teacher (and obviously a pro at making empanadas). I learned tips and tricks that I will use again. Definitely recommend!

A very fun experience that you cannot miss if you visit Medellín. Plus the empanadas are too delicious. Natalia and Erika welcomed us like at home and very patiently explained everything to us step by step. My husband speaks English and there was no problem with the explanation. Without a doubt, 100% recommended.

This experience was super cool! It was extremly hands on and allowed me to make Empanadas from start to finish! Upon arrival, you are greeted with an authentic Colombian drink. The host then takes you into the cooking area where all the ingredients are neatly laid out. A brief introduction on the history of how the class was formed and from there on out, it's Empanada making time!! The Empanadas came out deliciously, and there was more than enough to take home!!
