Discover the real Chelsea rich in history and scandal encompassing princesses to punks, ties with America through plants, cotton and heiress wives to aristocrats.

Walk down hidden streets and explore a property development that Prince Charles influenced and started a public debate on the role and limits of the royals. Uncover why Chelsea residents look young and healthy, learn their habits and foods they eat that are banned in America despite being healthy. Learn which parts of Chelsea are great to buy, and which developments have seedy reputations.

Explore streets inhabited by musicians, artists and writers, uncover the Irish connections to Chelsea. Sarah and Ari crafted this unique walking tour based on their experiences growing up in Chelsea as well as their current professions as art psychotherapists and realtors respectively.

The private tour with Sarah was excellent, and as she grew up there, she isn't an ordinary tour guide but has deep intimate knowledge of the area. I learnt so much about the history of Chelsea, including its link with Jimi Hendrix and its migrant history. We also randomly bumped into a Pulitzer prize winning photographer Sarah knew! And I learnt even more about the local artists, society, the aristocracy and some food facts that were fun and engaging.

We also did cheese tasting, went to some amazing locations including Chelsea Physics Garden, and we even ended up exploring inside a £30 million house on the famous Tite Street which was currently being renovated.

I really recommend it for overseas visitors who want to learn about the heritage of this beautiful part of London.
