It is the most popular of the four 5th stations on Mount Fuji and the best developed and easiest to access by private transportation from Tokyo. The outlet mall hosts a wide range of shops, from high-end luxury brands like Gucci and Prada to more affordable fashion retailers such as Gap and Nike. There are also stores selling home goods, electronics, and cosmetics. The proximity to Mount Fuji provides visitors with beautiful scenery, especially on clear days when the mountain is visible. 7. Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba
Iyashi no Sato stands on the site of a former farming village on the western shores of Lake Saiko. The village was destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966. Forty years later the village's traditional thatched roofed houses were reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where people can learn about the culture and try out and purchase different local handicrafts. The remaining houses include an art gallery that displays local artworks, a produce shop and a portrait studio where visitors can try on kimono or samurai armor for a small fee and take photos. Restaurants and rest houses can also be found around the village.

We had a very pleasant and well-coordinated day trip with our driver, Sharon Waqar. He took us to both standard tourist sites as well as off-the-beaten-path places we wouldn’t have found ourselves, all of which were enjoyable and combined for a great experience.

Our guides were great. Omar was very thoughtful and made sure his senior clients take a rest climbing the gazillions steps in one of the site😆. He is a pretty good photographer too. He took great pictures.

Waqar and Omar have a good sense of humor. We did not have an agenda, we just let them take the lead. They took us to an ice cream place. I had the lavander and rose water flavor. It was delicious.

There was a little bit of misunderstanding on messaging when they were on their way but Mr. Sato. Thank you Mr. Sato😊

Our most friendly driver Waqar was waiting for us with delicious snacks and cold drinks! We had perfect weather with crystal cool breeze and the sun warming our faces while we enjoyed the unbelievable views of Mt. Fuji! Waqar was patient while our 9 and 12 year old kids talked and played during the long rides in the car. He directed us through Oshinto Hakkai’s busy market to refreshing delicious samples of Japanese peach tea which we bought! Waqar was easily accessible by WhatsApp and promptly responded to our needs. We maximized our time on our 1 day trip, and Waqar kept us right on time according to our itinerary requests. We wrapped up our long day at a private onsen with quiet much needed relaxation. I highly recommend Waqar for your tour needs! Your vacation will truly be a vacation!
