The only excursion that provides 5/6 hours of trekking, starting from 2000 meters of altitude. Our naturalistic passionate guide will lead you through unknown paths of Mt Etna, where you can admire its vegetation, its lava deserts and its breathtaking panorama.
Visit with us a cave of volcanic origins with the equipment provided by us (helmets and torches).
At lunchtime we will offer a packed lunch, made of tasty sandwiches and a fruit, accompanied by water.

It was fantastic!
I was picked up near the hotel. We drove about 45 minutes to the camp where we were allowed to use hiking boots, jackets, etc. (free of charge)
After that we drove to the "Refugio Giovanni Sapienza" where we started. The hike was very beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable. He (Giovanni) told us a lot of things. It was very pleasant and interesting!!

a wonderful tour guided by Janet. she is really knowledgeable and helpful. we went trekking and saw all the stuff about volcanos. went into a cave and knew how the lava works.

This tour was excellent! From start to finish, Dario gave very interesting information about the volcano since he is an expert in environmental and natural science. The hike on the northeastern side of the volcano lasted about 4 hours, it was not too difficult, but very interesting because it led us through different landscapes, from where we could enjoy different views, plants, vegetation and of course the dried lava flow under our feet. After a short lunch break at a beautiful chalet in the forest, Dario brought us back to have a taste of the “Etna fire” (liquor), and then we went to the second part of the tour, the lava tunnel. This part was also a unique experience to be in a lava tunnel. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone! You will be surprised how much you can learn if you spend just one day in a completely different vegetation (almost like on another planet).

We had an 8 hours trip with Danilo the geologist guide, he picked up us with an airconditional Land Rover. He was perfect in English and very kind. We had an easy lunch on 2200 meters, the view was mindblowing. We were in extraordinary places, the whole tour was incredible. It was an amazing experience, it totally worths the money.

We had an amazing experience hiking around the North side of the Etna. Our guide was wonderful and shared his extensive knowledge on the history and nature with great enthusiasm. This had definitely added even more to the already beautiful sights. In addition the communication with etna experience prior to our trip was excellent. Thanks again for this memorable day!

November 6 we experienced one of the best organized tours to Etna accompanied by tour guide Giuseppe.He is a real professional, shared a lot of information with us. It seems he knows everything about Etna. Giuseppe showed us solitary track with no people around which gave us a feeling of isolation and allowed to enjoy Etna and spectacular views. He was attentive, caring, made our tour easy and comfortable. We definitely recommend him.
