Dresden is very famous for its unique collection of paintings. It combines history and innovations in one place. This fact makes one of the major tourist attractions nowadays. It has a 700-year history and it was once totally ruined. However, it managed to reborn like Phoenix providing us with lots of exciting places and interesting cultures to learn about.
When you no longer have the energy for walking, you can relax on the "balcony of Europe". This is the name of the embankment Brühl's Terrace, which stretches high above the shore of the river Elbe. There you can sit on a bench and enjoy the views.

Dresden is a really nice city to visit, beautiful architecture, mostly rebuilt but done really well, galleries and museums a plenty, a must for culture lovers.

Natalie our tour guide made this a very memorable trip. She met us in the hotel lobby and drove us to Dresden. Natalie was very informative all the way there giving us a great history lesson. During the walking tour she pointed out numerous pieces of history that you would have missed had it not been for her knowledge. We visited numerous buildings/churches and outdoor exhibits during our walking tour. We had free time for lunch and exploring on our own. All in all a great time with a great guide and I highly recommend her for your trip.
