This is one of the best experiences i recommend for you to do at night after you finish your tour during the day,
Starting with picking you up from your accomodation place in Cairo or Giza with your tourguide heading to the oldest part in the city.
The first thing you will see is one of the three remaining gates of old Cairo.
Then we will walk by Al Moez Street passing by a lot of Islamic monuments which we will stop by and talk about it's history and take a lot of pictures.
After about 20 min walking we'll arrive to Khan El Khalili Market, if you're interested to buy souvenirs ( the cheapest prices in Egypt) your tourguide will help you to get the best deals.
Then we go to " Al Feshawy Cafe" the oldest Cafe in Egypt to enjoy the best cup of tea with mint you will ever taste while listening to oriental music.
Afterwards we will pass by Al Hussain mosque and Al Azhar Mosque
At the end of tour you will be transferred back to your hotel with a lot of beautiful memories.

Karim was a fantastic guide. Extremwly friendly and respectful. He made a visit with us with wonderful insights on the egyptian's way of living and history as well as not rushing the visit, giving us a fantastic experience and tour. I would recommend this visit to anyone coming to Cairo with Karim (he speaks English, Spanish and Arabic).

El tour era muy interesante, aprendí muchas cosas gracias a las explicaciones de Karim. Me encanto mucho. Pudimos ver el ajetreo de las calles del mercado de khan al Khalili en oposición a la calma de las mezquitas que los rodean.

My boyfriend & I went on this walking tour in Feb 2024 & it was so amazing!! Abdu (the guide) was extremely nice & patient, my boyfriend & I ended up arriving much later than the start time due to cairo traffic, & Abdu was kind enough to wait for us! He was very knowledgeable & passionate about the history&sights, and knew how to make it interesting and fun! A nice bonus is he knows how to take very nice pictures as well:) We would definitely recommend this tour!!

I had a great time strolling around “old Cairo” at night. The views are amazing, photo opportunities abound and Hussein did a great job in explaining the history and the meaning of all the different buildings along El Moez street. We tried some of the delicacies, thoroughly explored the markets (a labyrinth that is easy to get lost in) and he had some great ideas on where to take pictures to best capture these impressions. Would absolutely recommend going with him!

That was an amazing trip, we enjoyed every moment. Guide and driver arrived in time then drove seamlessly trough the city. The guide had superb knowledge and enthusiasm of history of Egypt. Escorted us in our pace at all time, gave us a lot of opportunity to make pictures or asking questions. He was really kind remind us always where were the best spots to see or made some photos. He led trough the bazaar and helped to find some real deal. Time to time offered new bottle of water as well.
We visited the oldest part and oldest street of Cairo, visited a beautiful, huge and buzzing bazaar. Got great turkish coffee and tea in one of the oldest coffee shop of the country. At the end visited a beautiful open air mosque.

Exploring Old Cairo felt like stepping back in time. The Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue were mesmerizing, each with its own unique history. The Coptic Museum was a highlight, filled with fascinating artifacts. As I wandered through the narrow streets, I couldn't help but marvel at the stunning Islamic architecture and lively bazaars. The blend of old mosques and churches reflected the area's rich religious heritage. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of serene and bustling, offering a deep sense of Egypt's historical and cultural roots. Old Cairo is a must-visit for anyone wanting to truly experience Egypt's past.
