Ready to experience the Sami culture? In this tour, we take you to a Sami family so you can see how they live and try different Sami activities like lasso-throwing. That's the way Sami people catch their reindeer. When you have caught the reindeer you also get allowed to feed them! Enjoy a light refreshment in a heated cabin.
Additionally, you can have your photo taken with the Sami and the reindeer, and we will send the photos via Email the day after the tour for those interested. This activity also fits well for kids.

A good trip wit( knowledgable hosts who told us so much about the Sami culture. Small numbers on trip made it enjoyable. Plenty of food to go around to feed the reindeer. Highly recommended.

A truly amazing and magical experience. I don't think I'll forget it until the day I die. Not only was seeing the reindeer and feeding them amazing, but what my friends and I enjoyed the most was hearing the history, ideologies, views, lifestyle and overall learning about the Sami people!
It was gut wrenching and saddening to hear about the tragic history of how the Sami people were treated, but it was inspiring to hear how they prevailed and proudly stood their ground through those times. Any point in history where colonisers meet people native to the land, it is never a pretty story, but despite that I was truly amazed to hear about how Sami people persevered and talk to a father and son reindeer hearding Sami family.
It was also super interesting to hear about the day to day and learn more about reindeer in general.
Thank you so much for you hospitality, and sharing your story with us! We will never forget!

Very nice. I got to feed the reindeer they are shy and intelligent. They come up to you and want to eat the bread. After that we had a short experience inside with a fire and hot drink and some bread with butter. And they told us things about the Sami people. I liked it. You could also ask questions.

Great experience! We had enough time to encounter with reindeers, feed them and spend time with Sami people who explained to us their culture, their daily life, facts about reindeers’ life and treated us with hot drinks and traditional snacks. At the end, we had some fun with practicing lasso throwing!
