Let’s go on an adventure to Charco Prieto Waterfall in Bayamón, Puerto Rico! A medium-difficulty hike up the river to find an astonishing waterfall and a couple of little tide pools where you can swim and feel the cold, fresh water of Bayamón. You’re going to feel like you’re in a jungle! We’ll see some of the local flora and fauna of the area! And hopefully, hear some endemic birds of the island.
This tour is led by a certified interpretive guide with 5 years of experience. Certified by NAI (National Association of Interpretation) as a heritage interpreter.

WOW JUST WOW! The perfect quick hike through lush forrest to the most mesmerizing waterfall. Lianamar and Abdiel did an excellent job of being attentive and proactive to keep us safe during the hike - not the most challenging but you will be crossing the water and the rocks can get slippery. It does get challenging right when you get closer to the main water fall but so much fun and rewarding to climb up to the prize! Just hearing the sound of this waterfall from start to finish makes it all worth it. Pictures came out amazing! Thank you for this amazing experience! Will be booking with GeoAventuras again.

We climbed all the trails, we also crossed the river so precise and relaxing it seemed as if we were not in the city of Bayamón and when we reached the waterfalls it was a spectacular view!
I recommend GA and His guides, who are so kind and attentive at all times to us and our surroundings to make us feel safe.

I loved the experience. It satisfied my love of adventure, exercise, and nature. It wasn't easy climbing the rocks. It took agility and strength, but that's what made it fun!

LOVED the waterfall hike with Lianamar and Abdiel! My mom and I went on the hike up a river through the jungle to this waterfall and it was just magical :)) both of our guides have such amazing positive energy and watched out for our safety. Definitely recommend. It's also fun bc they are so knowledgeable about the birds and fauna that I learned new things too!

The entire experience was amazing !! If you’re a hiker, I’d say it was an easy trail there and back. Abdiel was an amazing guide and very patient with my niece during this hike!

What a fantastic experience I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It was my fifth time traveling to Puerto Rico and although I’ve done excursions like this before in other locations, nothing has been as detailed and intentional as this one. we got to see so many different areas and interact with the space around us whether that be jumping from a cliff, swimming through caves , Hiking the forest, and even getting some lessons on the geographical history around us. I highly recommend anyone to join in on the fun the next time they are in Puerto Rico.

My family and I are not big hikers but had to book this when we saw the amazing pictures and videos. So happy that we did. Abdiel made sure my husband, 11-year-old daughter, and myself were comfortable and safe throughout the entire hike. Abdiel is extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the little fun facts about plants, animals, nature, and history of Puerto Rico along the way. He clearly knows and loves this beautiful island. The waterfall was absolutely gorgeous! Definitely recommend this adventure and any that Abdiel and his crew runs!

We had such an amazing time in this tour!! Got to see beautiful animals and plants! The waterfall was breathtaking! Would definitely recommend to friends and family! The care the tour guides gave us was a 10/10!! Really nice and smart people! Always made us feel super safe!
