Safari Tour; Nairobi National Park

Wonderful safari with Bush2City. Collin drove in Kenya and found most of the big 5 animals, Hussein took us through Tanzania and was an excellent driver through very difficult terrain. We felt very safe in Africa, this company met our needs and expectations! Hussein surprised the teenagers with a camel ride on the last day. Vehicle and accommodations were excellent. Highly recommend this Bush2City. They will tailor a trip to your needs. So fun to take teens on too. They made the trip more fun and enjoyed every minute! Good experience to see how the rest of the world lives and appreciate what we have been blessed with!

The Nairobi national park is a great experience, in half a day. The Kenya Bush folks who accompanied on the trip were friendly and knowledgeable, and we were able to see many animals - lions, white rhino, ostriches and a serval cat up close. The park itself is very busy in the morning when we went, and expect to wait 30-45 minutes to get in. Once inside, the experience in unforgettable. It is a good idea to contact the vendor via Viator, and pass on your Whatsapp number so that they will intimate you if there is any change in the hotel pickup time.

Nairobi National Park is an amazing experience. The beauty is undeniable. However, I would recommend to book to tour with other operator due to these facts:
-Whatsapp response was delayed and I got the details the night before the tour (late night), when this should be given in advance. I struggled buying the ticket online and I got NO immediate support from the operator, I had to figure it out by myself.
-I asked for a tour in Spanish, and I was never told that it was not possible, until I asked the same day of the tour. Fortunately I speak both English and Spanish, but as the Spanish option was available I took it.
-The tour was shorter than it supposed to be, since one of the assistants had to take a road to the airport and the entire experience was affected for others. We missed 1hour and half of the tour.

The driver and the whole experience were nice, but the tour operator and logistics were not the best.

Such a fantastic afternoon; William, our guide was knowledgable, happy, and sought out as many animals as he could find. He provided water and information 😁 and drove like an expert. Would highly recommend, though leave your itinerary free afterwards in case it takes longer to get around the park. You don’t want to miss anything!

Booked this at short notice but a very rewarding experience. Just 3 of us with an experienced driver/guide.

SW a wide variety of animals including lioness with cub, white rhinos, water buffalo, zebra and giraffes.

Picked up and dropped at hotel.

Great experience.

Had a great time with Laurence! He was so full of information on all of the animals in the park, and had a great enthusiasm and energy. Would highly recommend!

Not the best experience. Driver was very late to pick up. 20 minutes into drive he got stuck in the mud and we lost 1 1/2 hours waiting for someone to pull us out. No apologies were given. He spent more time talking on his cell phone than looking for animals. Not very much information on animals either.

Disappointing experience. Poor communication prior to the day. All sorts of internal confusion from the company's side despite having our pickup details. Booked the advertised 5.30am safari slot, then collected at 6.20am. Vehicle was a badly equipped, dodgy looking, "Matatu" minubus. Driver was polite enough, but with very poor communication skills. 1 hour wait at the NSP entrance because the other 3 tourists were picked up late from their hotels in another minibus. The game drive itself was 4 hours, but a pretty lacklustre experience generally. Very little game to watch and almost always with a bunch of other (far nicer) vehicles crowded about the place. Our driver had very little idea as to where to go, and had the VHF radio on high volume throughout with general chit chat going on. Drove all of us quite insane. This company (BUSH ) needs to up their game in a number of areas. Just glad we didn't have guests with us (we are residents) as it would have been rather embarrassing! Hey ho.. Bit more research on companies next time.

Since I stayed at an airport hotel, the vendor sent a separate car for me at 545 for the 0600 tour. I was at the east gate of the park by 610. However, the main van didn't arrive until almost 645. It was VERY frustrating getting up extra early to just watch dozens of other vans start the drive.
It's best to buy your national park admission online in advance. Don't pay extra for the car. I had to specify that I was entering the East gate. It cost $44 for a foreigner.
The park is beautiful, but surreal, with the urban background. We saw many rhinos, giraffes, antelope of various sorts, zebras, and baboons. No lions this time around.
Note that you're only in the park for about 2 hrs before you go to a "bead shop" then a gift shop for coffee.
No water nor snacks are provided on the van.
