We had a great experience with John Karanja as our tour guide and driver from Kenya Bush Expeditions. We got to see four of the big five with Karanja due to his efforts at finding the animals. I would recommend this tour to anyone considering the 3-day trip.

We had absolutely perfect safari with John! Above all our expectation, we saw many non-standard things, lots animals - John was always one of the first drivers when a lion or other animal was spotted. Great skill as a driver, we were safe all the time. Always great atmosphere because of John's sense of humor and many interesting stories. Also swahili lessons on the fly! He also helped us to quickly organize another safari along with accomodation, helped us when we were trouble with telecom, and so on.

Tour guide Tony was a very good guy that tried his best.
Other than that, we had booked a private jeep safari and a day before he told us the jeep is no longer available!!! Excuse was we had asked for better price BUT specifically said in writing we wish to keep our tour as it is!
Then we had to go with the van! Out of the 3 days, since day 1 the van broke down, so we could not go on safari. Just waited at the hotel. So this meant even more money for the company as they did not even had to pay our park entrance fees! We asked for a refund and he actually gave back just 20usd more than the entrance fee he did not buy anyway and had the nerve to say that we should not complain because in the end we were lucky to see river crossings! Very very rude attitutude and unreliable! Kept ignoring my messages! A V O I D so u dont ruin your long deserved holidays!
Oh, and by the way, some friends of ours were there a week before and he also canceled their jeep on them too!!!! Hahaha

Strongly recommend our wonderful guide and driver Joseph, who is very experienced, knowledgable and professional. He knows every route in Mara and will take you to see whatever you want to see. We got to see a lot of animals in just a two-day trip. He also shows profound knowledge for the trees and animals because he got the answers for all of our questions. Also a very very nice person to spend time with.

My trip was absolutely fabulous. We were extremely lucky to have a well experienced and a man of many talents Tony Cruise (Tom Cruise brother from another mother) as our tour guide. Tony was very entertaining with his musical talent. His knowledge of all the animals was really amazing. Tony’s personality made us comfortable with him from the beginning. It wasn’t long before we were telling funny stories and exchanging jokes. Tony became not just our guide but our friend. The 3 days with Tony went very fast. Our safari tour was the highlight of my visit to Kenya. I would highly recommend Kenyan Expeditions for their professionalism and good service.

They promise to go the extra mile for their customers but don't. Our car broke down on the way there and missed the evening safari. They promised to do a full day safari on the last day but did not. They kept the money that I paid for the park on the evening safari. After talking to them, they did agree to a free safari in Nairobi, which was good, but we had to pay the park fee, which I thought was wrong because we paid for the park fee on the evening safari, which we were not able to do. They also refused to take us back to our hotel until i called them stating that it was part of the deal. I would recommend another company when going to Masai Mara.

I want to denounce the guide-driver of this tour. His name is Alex. He was very rude to me, he said that my English was very bad and he was not able to leave me at my hotel when I returned. I go so far as to "touch my arm and yell at myself" so I don't get out of the car. It was a very unpleasant situation for me, because I was traveling alone.

Yes, in any person's life, you got that dream you always wish to. It was a dream come true for me. A 3 days 2 nights at maasai mara game drive, I was privileged to encounter with almost every animal I had not met in my life one on one,from a den of lions, leopards,cheetah, elephants, hyenas, tsavo cat, hippos, wild beasts, variety of antelopes, ostriches and many more.
The most interesting part was the guide ability to get every detail of the animals, of their where about , when and at what time. True to his words, we literally found all the cats as he had advise on timing. 🙏🙏 . I must admit that John is that what every tour visitor would wish to have. He is such a knowledgeable person when it comes to guide and adventure. Big salute to him and the company he works (Kenya Bush and Expeditions). You guys never disappoint.

Gorgeous place to see such magnificant creatures. Our driver, Maxwell, was very professional, and attentive. He took the time to explain to us the difference between some of the species, as well as ensuring our safety. The camp staff made us feel welcomed.
The only thing I would have seen better was better communication from my tour operator, Kenya Bush Expedition. I did not receive any information confirming my pick up time until after I Emailed them. But that correspondence did come within 24 hours, so I am pleased with that. And on the day of the pick up my driver was running late, so I would have appreciated a call.
