PRE- HISPANIC MOSAIC 3-D WALL MURAL OF DIEGO RIVERA (The house of the winds) If you are familiar with the actress named Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo who was performanced the movie “Frida" and Alfred Molina as Diego Rivera her husband in the film but couple married in real life, we can assure that you'll love this mural. We are proud to have in Acapulco some of Rivera's most famous murals. After Frida Khalo time, Diego created the outdoor huge mural as a gift for his loved girlfriend Dólores Olmedo (Lola Olmedo) Get impressed on this 3D facade wall mural located it on Dolores Olmedo's property since 1956. This is not a fresco, is some of the most colorful and inspired mosaic work, volcanic rocks and seashells of Rivera's long career. It features are three-dimensional pre hispanic deities, standing out in relief from the flat surface.

Mexican Art Folk & Silver Factory (OPTIONAL STOP). Learn about the silver and opal jewelry from the silver city Taxco town. Taxco Silver Town & Acapulco’s are the oldest craft traditions date back to the pre Hispanic period. The store has all kind of Mexican art craft as art craft bowls, colourful embroidered dresses and jewelry shop section specializing in sterling silver from Taxco town, original, custom jewelry & art folks. The opal is the glorious gemstone that contains all the colors of the rainbow and may look like an artist palette joining all the colors together. All price ranges available.
6. La Quebrada
THE WORLDWIDE FAMOUS CLIFF DIVERS SHOW. It has been handed down from generation to generation. The show is quite insane and is as raw as it gets, are no nets or ropes. Wearing just a speedo bathing suit, to get to the top, the divers must scale the steep rocks up 135 feet with their bare hands using only their ability, without any basic climbing equipment or protection. Once up on the cliff, all together will be ready to jump and leaping. But it is not like jumping from a diving board pool! Once they are ready from the top of the "mountain" they taking off into the narrow ravine, where down there is only sharp rocks but the channel without the depth of a pool! Thats not all! They have to jump in exact time once the wave comes and water gets deeper.

Such a great way to see the sights of Acapulco and learn about this area and more of Mexico. Sabatian was a wonderful guide, sharing his knowledge of his home town and history with us and also framing up our photos for great pictures to take home. Highly recommended!

Sebastian and his son treated my friend and I so well that it was like we were friends just hanging out. At the same time they were completely knowledgeable and professional. I'm glad I took this tour with them. It made my experience in Acapulco 100 times better. I highly recommend this tour!

This was the best tour ever. ( it was pre-hurricane of course). Sebastian was friendly, knowledgeable, timely and overall fantastic. I highly recommend him for any tour.

We went to the Chapel of Peace an Manos d la Hermanidad. It was just amazing and what view. So much history! We saw sights all along Diamante on our way to and from our pickup at our hotel.

Our tour included lunch at a restaurant on Playa Caletas. The eats were great and the cultural mix along the beach was impressive. We had such things as shrimp tacos, chicken tostadas, and coconut ice cream.

After lunch, we went to the infamous Cliff Divers. A fantastic show was put on. Diego and Frida mural and saw where they lived. We also enjoyed shopping at an artisan market. Los Flamingos Hotel was interesting with the old gang, John Wayne, & such.

We felt completely safe and had an amazing time with Sebastian. I suggest this tour when Acapulco gets back on its feet and until then any tour with Sebastian would be el worth the money. and you would have a great time.

We had such a great time on the tour with Sebastian. We were here on a cruise and wanted to see as much of Acapulco as possible in 6 hours. Such a beautiful tour! Sebastian was incredibly friendly and informative about so many interesting things about the city! Every stop we went to had such pristine views and photo worthy locations! From earthy churches, to art, to little shops with stunning jewelry to take along the way! I strongly encourage booking this tour and getting immersed in a history lesson and the culture!

Awesome tour and provided a very thorough depiction of all stops along the tour. The air conditioned view of the cliff divers was very much appreciated! Releasing baby sea turtles was one of the highlights of the tour. Don't listen to the bad news about Acapulco. Very beautiful and safe. If you're there on a Thursday, go find a nice spot for some delicious pozole!

We had a very fun day seeing the sights in Acapulco. We visited the Chapel of Peace (way more interesting than I anticipated and beautiful views) , had a delicious lunch on the beach (Margaritas not included, but also delicious), stopped a bit for some shopping, watched the daredevil cliff divers, saw some art and a historic hotel. We hired Sebastián Hernandez to show us around. He was very prompt, knowledgeable and affordable. Thank you to the other reviewers who recommended him.
