Christ Church Cathedral (founded c.1028) is the spiritual heart of the city, and one of the top visitor attractions in Dublin. Step inside and you can enjoy the cathedral’s beautiful interior and fascinating medieval crypt. The history of Christ Church Cathedral reflects the history, both religious and political, of Ireland. The Cathedral Crypt is the largest in Ireland, dating back to the 12th century and the beautiful neo-gothic nave is an oasis of calm in the middle of a busy city. Visitors on this self-guided tour have access to the nave and the crypt.

Very nicely laid out displays and lot of interesting history. Be sure to visit the crypt. When we were there, the organ was playing and it was beautiful.

We had a fantastic, informative time on this tour in Dublin. I HIGHLY recommend. The guides pack a lot into a short-ish tour. Lots of stairs to the top (85? And not for the claustrophobic) They are probably all very knowledgeable but our group guide was Darie (spelling?) and he was a perfect blend of history and attention grabbing humor. This was a scheduled tour through our group tour of Ireland, through Gate 1, and I will forever recall the bell ringing on a Monday morning with "Wakey Wakey Dublin!" And I have a fun video to show for it.

Incredible historical architecture in the centre of the city. Medieval place of worship for over 1000 years. This is one of Dublins oldest buildings.

The most beautiful cathedral in all of Ireland! From the ceiling to the floors to the stained glass windows. To the friendship mass we just happened to catch. Highly recommend!
Rebecca was a great guide! She was informative, animated and just plain fun. Her personality shows through her obvious love of her job. Ask for Rebecca!

One of the city's main tourist attractions. To enter the Cathedral you have to pay. She was Catholic. She's Anglican. The adjacent Viking museum is very good. It tells the entire story of the Viking occupation of Ireland. Good collection, easy to understand, instructive.

A lovely cathedral, beautiful architecture and a kind staff. My fiancée and I did the self guided tour and it was great. You scan a QR code upon entry and pull up the tour in your phones web browser, I recommend bring a pair of personal headphones! Definitely worth the 10Euro!
