An incredible day in the company of a great guide!
I recommend with family, friends, as a couple or even solo!!!
The day started with a motorbike taxi ride to reach the start of the Dois Irmaos hike, a hike that is not too difficult, and quite shady!! Small contribution to the community to go up and a warm welcome from a Tucan!!! The viewpoints throughout the hike are a nice taste of the breathtaking view of all of Rio that you have once up there! Magnificent view of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and Sugar Loaf, a marvel!! Bonus point: JC knows everything about the history of Vidigal and Rio! In short, INCREDIBLE!!
Then, visit the Vidigal favela and all the key places. Nothing better than visiting every nook and cranny with a local, and with the little stories of each other's inhabitants! JC knows everyone, and gave us a lot of confidence! It was just awesome!!!
After the visit we had such a hard time leaving!!!
Go headlong into this crazy experience and discover this corner of paradise!!! :))

It was an incredible tour and whole new experience for me to travel to Favéla, the amazing view and how the history of constructing Favéla left deep impression on me. I really appreciate the whole tour with Jean, who is a very nice and easy-going guide. With his professional and detailed explanation, I enjoyed the whole trip! The views were magnificent! Jean Christophe was the best guide. He took us back to the top of the hike which overlooked a magnificent view of all of Rio. During our walk in the Favelas, we all felt safe. We were able to learn more about the Favelas and discover more about Vidigal. It was one of the best experiences of my life, unforgettable!!! I 100% recommend this experience :)

Wow! Amazing ! Countless memories, it was crazy! I think this is the best way to visit a favelas: with JC, a Marseille native who traveled around the world and who ended up in the Vidigal favelas. An incredible encounter, which will make you live the experience to the fullest, passing through all the important points of the favelas. Little bonus: the hike in the morning which offers an incredible view of all of Rio upon arrival. The only place where you can see leblon, ipanema, copacabana and sugar loaf at the same time.
Don’t hesitate, go headlong into this crazy experience.
Probably my best day in Rio.

Crazy experience with a crazy guide!
I highly recommend this completely unique experience. We were lucky enough to be with a French guide who lives in the Vidigal favela who therefore introduced us to his own corner of paradise. He will share his experience with you and give you all the necessary explanations that will allow you to understand the very essence of the favelas but also of Rio, which he knows like the back of his hand. I think this experience is one of the best of my life.
As for the hike, not so complicated even if it climbs a little but you will have the chance to see monkeys and beautiful birds. In addition, the view at the top will reward you for your ascent!
For the visit to the favela, at no time did I feel unsafe because the fact that our guide is a local is very reassuring, he knows the inhabitants and their way of life!
So I recommend this crazy experience 300,000%
