I had a really nice time at this tour. Ryo is very friendly. He waited for me and called me, as I didn't find the right location in the beginning. It was a good introduction to Japanese culture. And if you want to, photos will be taken of you. Thank you Ryo (and Geraldine:)!

I really loved Ryo's story-telling and the funny anecdotes he shared along the way. I could also have a better understanding of Japanese people's spirituality in their everyday lives. I really recommend this tour to anyone interested in the traditional aspects of Japanese culture and history, as the host keeps it light and entertaining.Thank you, Ryo ! ;-)

I had a wonderful and in-depth tour of Asakusa all thanks to Ryo!

The starting location is very close to the station which makes it easy to get there fast, Ryo was very informative and was happy to answer any questions I had regarding parts of the tour.

He has an interesting history himself and if you're lucky you could even see him doing a comedy show after the tour!

100% try the Melon Pan he recommends as it is so sweet and delicious.

Lastly, the price Ryo is charging for this experience is incredibly cheap, you deserve more Ryo, but if others are curious to visit Asakusa, get some history, take wonderful pictures, and pay next to nothing to do so, then this is the tour for you!

Thank you so much for having me Ryo

We had to reschedule because of bad weather but I'm glad we did! I was even able to get a private tour of Asakusa! Ryo was an amazing guide, providing a lot of background information to each of the individual landmarks in Asakusa and pointing out small details I would have definetely missed on my own. He also recommended some shops to get some specific souvenirs for my friend, which I really appreciated :) Overall the tour with Ryo really enhanced my visit to Asakusa and I can highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about the area and it's history, beyond the usual sightseeing!

The tour was Amazing. Ryo was very knowledgeable on the numerous sights that can be found in Asakusa ranging from its many beautiful shrines to exploring the historic theater district. The thing i loved the most was how funny Ryo was and how fun he made the tour in comparison to others that end up just spitting facts. Highly recommend

The tour was amazing. Ryo is very knowledgeable, friendly and hilarious. The pacing of the tour was perfect. We were able to see and talk about a lot but also had some time to take pictures and try food from the stalls around the area. I was very happy with the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone that's staying nearby.

My experience in Japan was made even better by Ryo’s excellent tour of Asakusa. His deep understanding of the area's history and his approachable, engaging manner made the tour both informative and enjoyable. He answered all our questions and provided us with unique insights only a local would know. The stop at the market was definitely my favorite part of the tour as we had some time to try some delicious snacks. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an authentic, informative, and fun experience in Asakusa!

As an international tourist, I felt that this was an amazing tour of Asakusa. Our tour guide, Ryo, is incredibly knowledgeable of the area’s history and was always open to answering our questions while guiding us through the area. We briefly stopped at the nearby market for some delicious treats (that we wouldn’t have otherwise found on our own) as Ryo shared some of his insights as an Asakusa local. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone curious in learning about the area!
