On a half-day outing, which combines trekking with rowing, you will enjoy all the excitement of a meandering river surrounded by peat bogs, where at every turn the landscape surprises you with its impressive snow-capped peaks and glaciers, the magical atmosphere of the Andes Mountains.
This activity is ideal for those visitors who want to surround themselves with all the nature that Tierra del Fuego offers, but for an outing that does not require much effort, a minimum of physical condition and a desire to enjoy is necessary!
We carry out a low-intensity trek until we reach our initial rowing point, the Butterfly Lagoon, where you will learn the most important aspects and the technique for rowing on the river.
We will let ourselves be carried away by the river enjoying the calm of the water, surrounded by the Andes mountain range with its snow-capped peaks!

We had a wonderful experience floating down the river. Spectacular views, very friendly guide. One of us was in a double raft with our nine year old daughter. Highly recommend!

I loved the excursion, I would definitely do it again.
It begins with a trek of low difficulty, until you reach the Mariposa lagoon, and then paddle along the Olivia River to almost the starting point.

Everything was great, the view, the excursion, the good vibes, experience and humor of the guide, being in the river 360 degrees seeing and feeling nature, having a bite to eat in that place... don't miss that excursion (with the company I did another and everything is also very good, from punctuality, treatment, security and respect.
It's worth it, greetings...

One of the best experiences we had!
The entire Táun Ushuaia team gave us excellent service.

They will pick you up wherever you are staying (transfer included).

Start with an easy trek of approximately 40 minutes. Where we carry all the necessary equipment, included in the excursion. Each one with their waterproof backpack with boat, paddle, inflator, life jacket and waterproof pants.

After trekking we prepared for the water. We inflated the boats, had a technical talk and practiced a little rowing.

We entered the Olivia River and began to descend. The activity is very fun, and along the way you contemplate the beauty of the Andes Mountains.

We make a technical stop for lunch, on a beautiful little beach, and we begin the last stretch of paddling.

We ended up deflating the boats, and packing the bags to return.
Lunch is also included.

Important information:
•This activity can be done between the months of October and May.
•No previous experience is necessary, the boats are very stable.
•It is an activity for all ages.
•It lasts approximately 5 hours.

I hope the info is useful to you and you don't miss it!!!

Packrafting on the Olivia River, an experience without difficulty (you don't have to know how to ride a rubber boat or kayak) and it is beautiful. You have to walk with the boat on your back for 40 minutes through a very beautiful forest, you arrive at a lagoon, you inflate the rubber boat and go down the river. It is a calm, fun and beautiful activity. I loved it and would do it again. Thank you @taunushuaia, I always go on excursions with you and you are the best, not only because the activities are incredibly beautiful but because I feel cared for, something that is very important to me in activities in nature.
