Really dumb. Of course it didn't help that I am not German speaker and my German family chose the German language tour. The only scary part was I didn't want to be picked, since they seem like they would be mean. The chick who started the tour was nasty. You have to tuen off your cell, and smart watch. So she got on my case for it. Nasty. Later I saw others with watches...whatever. It's not even scary, really childish.

Good spooky factor but still so you can go with children...
There is much more on offer than you really expect...
Inconspicuous from the outside, but once you take the "tour" it's unbelievable how much program is presented and how many rooms you are led into....
Everything included... boat trip... dungeon... prison visit...
It's great how they play with darkness and light...the details are just great
Only recommended...
When we're back in Berlin, we'll visit again...

My 11 year old was invited to this place for a birthday party. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the website before sending my son, and I regret it. My son was totally shocked with the dead body operation (showing bloody intestines and heart) and the pliers used to cut the penises. Is this actually good for the mental health of a child? For the horror lovers is good, I guess, but I wish they could raise the entrance age to 16 year old.

It was very fun, a little scary so maybe not for kids. And be careful if you are introverted. The actors will make you a part of the show in front of everyone.

It was scary, but tolerable. The actors and staff did a great job. We were well entertained for about an hour. The highlight is the involvement of the visitors by the actors. The historical background is far in the background. So you can't expect a museum.
You should experience it once. But it is not necessary to do it more often.
