Mostar is a city and municipality in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

We had a fabulous day with Novak on our private tour of Mostar & Kravice Waterfalls. Everything from the booking to our drop off ran smoothly. Whilst our starting time was early, it was well worth it, as the border crossing were quick and our first stop at the waterfalls were quiet, although the tour buses started arriving as we were leaving, so well planned by Novak to go there first.
We then headed to Mostar…we didn’t think we would need 3 hours there, we were wrong, could easily have spent longer. The museum of war and genocide victims is definitely worth visiting, confronting but a worthy reminder of the atrocities committed.
Our final stop was at Počitelj, it was pretty hot by this point and we were feeling quite tired with a 2 hr trip ahead back to Dubrovnik, but we still enjoyed the short stop and walk around the old town.
Novak was so accommodating the whole day, and a huge benefit of doing a private tour is the flexibility to stay longer or less time at the locations, depending on the wishes of the group.

Our driver and the trip was faultless! Our driver, disco was brilliant. The perfect mix of talking and pointing out attractions and answering all our questions to being quiet and letting us relax on the journey! Was always ready waiting for us on meet ups and just thoroughly 5 star. I hope for anyones sake taking this trip, they get him! The actual trip was fabulous too. Mostar is a beautiful town but my only warning would be the old bridge is extremely slippery and I had trainers on. High heels on this trip would be a nightmare so don’t!

This is a must do!!!!! Our driver Marco was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. The private tour was exactly what I had anticipated. All our stops were on our schedule which made for a wonderful experience. Lots of opportunities for sight seeing. The three areas were very different but all nice.
I would recommend sensible shoes, gym shoes, since there are a lot of stairs and they can be very slippery
In polictej we climbed to the top of the castle. Lots of stairs but the view was worth it !!!
We stopped in Mostar for lunch. Marco gave us great suggestions for lunch. It was delicious. The market is very interesting with many great souvenirs.
Final stop for us was Kravice falls. It was quite busy when we arrived, but we were able to find a seat in a café next to the Falls. I would recommend doing this since buying a few drinks gives you a beautiful seat under an umbrella rather than paying five euros a person for deck chair.

Novak was a great guide. Very informative on the history of the region. Tactful navigation as well. He also helped us get the most out of each stop. This was a full day and nice way to experience unique cultures, history and natural beauty.

I used a private car to go from Split to Dubrovnik via Kravicewaterfalls and Mostar. The driver was friendly and punctual. He also told me very useful information about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and recommended a restaurant in Mostar, so I was able to have a delicious lunch.
As we were approaching Dubrovnik, I suddenly requested to see a panoramic view of the old town, and he gladly took me there.
As it was a private car, the trip was very easy and enjoyable. I recommend using the service from Split to Dubrovnik, as it makes effective use of your time.

Disco was an amazing guide. The right amount of time and flexibility to accommodate the fickleness of our teens. Disco told stories and spoke about past and current events. He handled the drive with pro skills. We hope you also get to experience a tour with Disco!

Disco was great. Highly recommend this tour the town and waterfalls are beautiful. He was informative and knew a lot about the local history and is much faster than the coach bud options.

Our tour guide Josh was a fantastic driver for me and my group with lots of good history and tips for each spot. Very accommodating for the small van we had and a funny guy as well. Would recommend!
