Avalon History Tours is a small family-owned business located on Catalina Island. We offer an authentic and immersive experience led by knowledgeable guides who are local residents. Our hour-and-a-half-long tour covers approximately one mile of the island's charming and predominantly flat terrain, making it accessible to most guests. For extra convenience, guests aged 6 and over are provided with a headset to wear during the tour, ensuring they can hear the tour guide clearly.

Bre, our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable about the island and answered all of our questions, and we had many. She was easy to listen to and kept a nice walking pace. Her love for the island came thru in her tour.

Bre gave a wonderful and interesting walking tour of Avalon! The unique history of the Island and Avalon was explained clearly, and was sprinkled with fun tidbits about many locations seen along the way. The pace was perfect and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour!

The history tour of Catalina was lovely, Bre and James were very informative and very knowledgeable about the Island. With them being locals they also gave us the scoop on where to go and what to do. The walk itself was easy and very beautiful. 5 stars 🌟 highly recommend!
