Actually, after the trip to Cu Chi, it was a surprise and admiration for me: I felt surprised and admired by the creativity, pragmatism and resilience of the people of Cu Chi when designing and building these buildings. Complex hidden tunnels. This shows human bravery and creativity in war situations.
and made me able to Recall history: Walk in the tunnels, look at the remaining relics. Stories about war and sacrifice made me ponder a lot about the meaning of peace and see the spirit patriotism of the Vietnamese people.

There were 6 of us, going deep into the forest, the tunnels were underground. Shallow and deep depending on the section, divided into different layers. The first floor is 3-4m above the ground and was used for fighting in ancient times. The second floor is about 6-8m used for resting. And finally, there is a bunker system about 10-12m above the ground. In shelters, there are special types of A-shaped bunkers, capable of avoiding bombs for the elderly, women and children to shelter in!

On the second day, I booked a tour here. I feel like there are too many surprises here. Vietnamese people are really smart to think of tunnels like this, they both live and work, have a hospital and a kitchen. Although it was extremely difficult and arduous, they tried very hard to regain their freedom. April told us everything and took great care of us. I am so happy about that.

Another wonderful memory to be treasured. It took two hours from Ho Chi Minh City and the transportation provided was extremely brilliant. Had a chance to enjoy how it would be to stay inside the tunnel. The tour guide was such a knowledgeable and attentive person. Tried the authentic coconut candies and honey. The Mekong Delta was another sweet memory. Managed to find a few friends from other countries during this trip!
