1. Scala Contarini del Bovolo
Scala Contarini del Bovolo, The Scala Contarini del Bovolo, considered the most valuable and imposing example of a Venetian spiral staircase, was commissioned by Pietro Contarini towards the end of the 15th century to unify the two wings of the family palace and celebrate the prestige of his house.
2. Teatro La Fenice

3. Ponte dell'Accademia
built in 1933, to replace a previous iron bridge built by the Austrians in 1854 to shorten the transit from Piazza San Marco to the newly built Santa Lucia Railway Station. At the time it was the second bridge that crossed the Grand Canal, given that previously only the Rialto Bridge, completed in 1591, allowed crossing the great lagoon artery. The decision to build it was taken quickly, but the speed with which the work was carried out was astonishing: having begun on 10 December 1932, the bridge was already assembled on 15 January 1933: thirty-seven days, including holidays. Another month passed before the inauguration, due to the installation of gas pipes along the arch. 4. Squero di San Trovaso
One of the very last Gondola factories, workshops for their repair, existing in Venice. This extraordinary shipyard, dating back to the 17th century, still creates traditional wooden gondolas.

6. Scuola Grande di San Rocco
The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is a large building on two floors, with three rooms open to the public, two large and one small. For travelers who are not art enthusiasts, the visit to the Scuola Grande di San Rocco may be more interesting than that of the Accademia Galleries, given that, even if it does not have many works and is smaller, the architecture of its building it is, for us, more beautiful and majestic.

The Campo takes its name from the church, founded in the 10th century and rebuilt around 1679, which overlooks it with a simple façade from 1741. At its center is the monument to Paolo Sarpi (1892), the friar who consulted the Republic at the time of the controversy with the papacy during the so-called 'war of the Interdetto' (1606), which pitted Venice against the Papal State which attempted to remove two priests guilty of common crimes from the jurisdiction of the Serenissima; the friar was wounded here in 1607, at the foot of the bridge, by assassins perhaps sent from Rome. Corresponding to the campo, the beautiful Palazzo Correr overlooks Salizzada S. Fosca, made up of two Gothic building units: one, remodeled in the 18th century, has an elegant white stone cladding while the other - which perhaps, judging by the overhanging terraces, should have followed its fate - it maintains its fifteenth-century appearance. The Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research and a well-known auction house are located here.
