Dublin was once the biggest whiskey producing region in the world. Come along and see where the great distilleries of the 19th century once were as well as where some of the most exciting distilleries of the 21st century have set up. That's not to mention the Brewing culture, past and present of the city. Guinness are the giants of Irish beer, but there are great small breweries that I look forward to introducing you to.

The listed itinerary is flexible and can be potentially changed to accommodate particular interests. As listed, it involves about 4km of walking (60-75 minutes) through some of the oldest, most historic and characterful parts of the city, with a few stops along the way at points of interests and recommended watering holes.

As an industry veteran, I can provide insight into the industry as well as give off-the-beaten-track recommendations, so you can experience the city, and its drinks, as a local does.

This is a great tour for both tourists and locals. I’ve been living in Meath / Dublin for nearly 3 years and visiting Ireland for close to 10 years, Cian showed me places I’d never seen and gave me information I’d never heard!
Cian is very knowledgable and was very happy to answer our questions.
Would highly recommend this tour and I cannot wait to visit the places he has suggested!
I will also be bringing my Irish family on this tour as I think they would highly enjoy it too!
Thanks Cian!

As a well travelled globetrotter, it can be hard to find an authentic experience off the tourist trail but Cian's tour delivers just that! It felt like getting a behind the scenes tour of 'real Dublin'. I learnt so much, I loved how Cian blended old and new as well as facts with fun. His enthusiasm is infectious and the only thing I enjoyed more than the guide were the delicious beverages he recommended!
Santé chef !

Cian was a fantastic tour guide. He is passionate and knowledgeable in equal measure, and clearly enjoys meeting new people. The tour is a great opportunity to explore the back streets of old Dublin as well as visiting some of Dublins finest beer and whiskey establishments, old and new, all while getting some fun facts about Irish history.

I've been to Dublin several times and this has been by far my favourite tour. We were a group of friends willing to try something more customized and Cian's approach was perfect. We visited many places and beautiful pubs off the beaten track that made us feel truly locals while discovering very interesting details about the city. Cian made the tour very enjoyable and ensured we savoured the best drinks while learning about the city and its history.

An absolute must!

Pros:
My partner and I took the tour on a whim as we felt like we wanted to have the unique experience of a local showing us all of the best places to visit in such an historic city.

We were absolutely blown away by Cian's immediate warmth, his storytelling capabilities and engagement throughout. Thank you, Cian, for showing us some of the most incredible places in Dublin that we have never seen curated so to perfection!

If you are into whiskey, this is the tour for you!! Cian's knowledge is unmatched.

Cons:
There are none, this was one of our favourite activities we've done, on any vacation, EVER!

Hugs from Barcelona!

Ps thank you for introducing us to "Beamish"!
