Nice half day activity to do something different from wine tasting. Besides it being very very hot that day, it was a really nice experience. I haven’t ridden a horse in over 10 years and was a bit nervous but besides a couple scratches from branches it was a lot of fun and I felt safe. Our guide was very friendly and you could tell loved the horses. She was great in selecting which horse went with what person and we had a beautiful walk on a trail around the lake. If I were to do it over again I would pick a winery close by there to go to after grabbing lunch.

Such a fun experience. The staff are so friendly. My 13 year old loved riding their own horse for the first time. It was our first time ever horseback riding and proration was fast and simple. By the end of our ride we felt like experts haha. I would 100% recommend booking a ride .

We returned to California for our 25th Wedding Anniversary because we spent our honeymoon in San Francisco 25 years ago! We headed to north California deep in wine country. I booked this tour direct thru the ranch website. It was easy and we were updated via email. The ranch is fantastic. We are equestrian and have our own ranch and horses in Florida. We have ridden (showing/trailing) all over the country including Hawaii and I can say with absolute confidence this one of the best ranch tour we have ever done. The guide Nikki was fantastic, this particular tour is not for the “faint of heart”~lots of steep and descending rocky inclines, straight down but these horses are dead broke and Know their job. They have other tour not as intense~so any of them depending on your experience or not could be awesome! The staff at the ranch was so accommodating, the drive was great and the horses were all healthy and beautiful! I would book this ride again! Thank you Nikki for making this Anniversary the absolute best!

Our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgeable and adapted her instructions for the varying levels of riding experience we had in our group. The views were spectacular and the horses were sweet.

Nikki and her team, Magnum, Rocky, and Tucker (names of horses), were a delight to ride with! She was patient and understanding with my anxiety and helped me throughout the ride, when needed. I HIGHLY recommend this tour! You won’t be disappointed with the views!!!

Nikki was the best. My wife and I had the best time. She rode Magnum, and I was on Duncan; what an AWESOME creature. The paths were great, the views breathtaking, and the experience is by far one of the best we have ever had in wine country.

This was an amazing experience. I highly recommend leaving early, I left 20min early and was 10min late, you need to find it and fill out a paper. There was 2 instructors, a female and a male. They were both amazing and so friendly and inviting. If you’re afraid of heights be prepared, there’s 3 parts that tensed me up. One of which I did scream but everyone was so nice to me and with heavy breathing I made it through. Trust your horse, my boy was the best , with a little attitude but I love that. I haven’t been on a horse in 21 years and I was much smaller, but I had a blast and I want to go back! Magical place for trail ride!!!!!
