WHAT TO EXPECT
1.
In this palace, now Sambors restaurant, we will begin our tour reading the poets José Vicente Figueroa, Octavio Paz & Jaime Sabines. Our conversation will emphasize some elements of Mexican identity: loneliness and communion.
2. El Atrio del Templo de San Francisco
In this beautiful church we will read Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, the greatest reference in New Spain poetry. Likewise, we will discuss the religious and mythical dynamics of Mexican syncretism.
3.
In the heart of the city, right in front of the government palace, we will read "The Anonymous of Tlatelolco", which corresponds to the indigenous testimony against the conquest of Mexico.
4.
In the archaeological windows of the main temple, from the outside, we will read the indigenous poet Nezahualcoyotl, also emperor of Texcoco and engineer. Without a doubt, representative of mythical poetry prior to the vicissitudes of the Spanish conquest.
