Great tour with Jenny, a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Learned not just about the different cheeses but about the area too. Plenty opportunities to taste, chat and browse in cheese shops. A lovely way to spend a few hours.

Went on the cheese tour with a few friends, our favorite part was the last stop being in the park to enjoy the last few cheeses and complimentary wine. Since I don’t drink alcohol, our very kind tour guide Xander went out of his way to get me a soft beverage of my choosing. This was so kind of him to do for me.
We also got to try a free sample of chicken lived paté, which is a local favorite bite. This was a very neat experience to try local bites!

We went to multiple local businesses and had some wonderful and delicious cheese! It was a lot fun to try all the varieties. The day we went the weather was a bit on the cool side and most of the tastings were outside so dress appropriately! Our tour guide was very knowledgable!

Xander was very friendly and knowledgeable! The three stops were each unique! I enjoyed the cheese and background information. Stockbridge is a great part of Edinburgh that we may have missed without this tour.

We arrived to Edinburgh and, while most tourists would opt for a hop-on-hop-off or a city tour, we decided to ... eat cheese! And we had a wonderful time. Kieran gave us a great education about the local cheese shops and what makes their cheeses special. We tasted 7-8 different cheeses at 3 local shops and had a bit of a wine pairing at the last one. It was a truly delightful introduction to the city.

I recommend this tour to everyone who likes cheese. Kieran, our guide, was excellent, and made the tour fun and informative. He took us to three cheesemongers in Stockbridge - George Mewes, Herbie and Mellis. We enjoyed samples from each of the shops with Kieran sharing his knowledge about the different cheeses. We enjoyed a glass of wine at our last stop, a wee park.

Xander the guide was excellent. He took us to three cheese shops in the Stockbridge area. We had samples from the shops which he was very knowledgeable about and gave us a lot of fact about the different cheeses. We also had wine at the last shop. The sunny warm weather also increased our enjoyment of the tour. The crawl actually finished at Ian Mellis cheese shop not at Clark’s bar as stated on the guide.
