From the moment we entered the traditional Croatian house we were welcomed with homemade liqueur and snacks. We enjoyed a tour of their farm and then began our fabulous cooking experience. She shared her secrets for cooking, and the five course meal that we produced was fabulous along with several homemade wines. I very highly recommend this as a must do experience if you want to get a feel for the true Croatian culture.

This was such a wonderful, memorable experience. We were picked up right on time and taken to a small village close to Dubrovnik. There, we toured a working farm, met the family’s animals, and learned a bit about their life. We picked our own vegetables, before preparing them for the meal. We also made our own bread and cookies. The whole family (wife, husband, and children) were so lovely and showed us such a fabulous time!

Absolutely worth every dime. The driver was lovely and the host family were welcoming, very proud of their tradition and I learned so much about Osojnik, the old house, I was obsessed with the donkey… and learned new tips on how to make a more fluffier bread.
It was also my birthday and the host family baked a lovely ape pie for me, as a solo traveller that really made my birthday very very special.
I hope to come back sometime. ❤️

I will start by saying, this was the BEST thing we booked while staying in Dubrovnik. The family hospitality was unmatched. We got to be hands and help cook numerous dishes. We picked vegetables in the garden and dug up potatoes for the meal, we made homemade cookies and even had a bread making competition with the rest of the guests. The entire family played a role in making all of us feel welcomed, all while teaching us about the history of the home and the dishes we made. We also got to meet the family's farm animals! This was the absolute highlight of out trip, if you get the chance to book this, you HAVE to!

This is truly a unique experience ! You get out of the busy city of Dubrovnik to a small town in the country side. Nakolana and Matteo were wonderful hosts, not only teaching you to cook but also teaching their culture and showing you how they live in their day to day. The food was fresh and delicious! The small group of 8 people was the perfect size for an intimate experience and to meet other people. Highly recommend !

This is the most authentic experience I’ve ever had while visiting another country. You got to go into their home, meet their family and enjoy their food. It was traditional and enjoyable, and we will do it again if we are ever back.

We had a wonderful evening. The pick up at our hotel was on time and comfortable. Meeting the family and getting a better understanding of their lifestyle, property and history was very enlightening. Get to experience everything from picking the fresh vegetables in their garden, to preparing the meal, making bread, salads, meat dishes, etc was a lot of fun.
Food was great, fantastic wine with the meal. Everyone in our group (including the 20 somethings) has a great time. One of the highlights of our entire vacation !!

Beautiful countryside so close to Dubrovnik, perfect experience. The preparation of dinner was so fun, from picking vegetable's from their garden to making the food and visiting their animals. It was fun, memorable and the best experience on our family trip.

10/10 would recommend! Katerina was so much fun and she was so patient with us. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shared the history of her family and their traditions. The food was wonderful and we even made homemade bread. Picking the vegetables from the garden was really special and we really enjoyed the homemade wine. We would absolutely do this again!

It was an amazing experience to feel like family and learn about Croatian cooking from such a wonderful family. The meal was made with love and was fantastically delicious. Katerina and Nike were the perfect hosts. If you enjoy cooking and learning it’s a 10/10 must do.
