4 of us had the absolute pleasure of going on a wonderful 6 hour (actually went for 7 hours) private food and history tour. A very long tour I admit, but we had so much fun with Peter - world's best guide - the time flew by.
I expected we would visit a couple of coffee cafes and, in accordance with their coffee culture, spend an hour or two at each with a food stop somewhere in between. We did partake of a traditional coffee cafe, but then we did so very much more.
Peter has a gift for telling a story, for bringing history alive. He has an actors way of telling the tale which keeps you memerized and entertained. Bravo Peter, and thank you!
We ate a LOT of new tasty foods, went to places that locals go and of which tourists are unaware. All the while learning the colorful history of beautiful Vienna.
We all left the tour feeling utterly satiated, knowledgeable about Vienna's fascinating history and with a desire to visit Vienna again, physically a little tired but mentally wired, and with an abiding affection for our tour guide Peter.
It was a truly and all around wonderful experience.

Christoph was an AMAZING tour guide. A fun person to spend the day with, SO knowledgeable, and very attentive to what we liked. This was definitely a highlight of our time in Vienna. He takes pictures and sends a follow up email that includes restaurant recommendations. We can’t thank him enough for a wonderful day. We felt like we got a very authentic food experience in Vienna. He also taught us how to use the public transport system, so this is truly a great tour for one of your first days there!

Our food tour in Vienna with Patrick as our private guide was an absolute highlight! As a native Viennese, his tour made our weekend even more enjoyable. Every stop was special and the final stop was our absolute highlight. We thought the combination of statue and excellent food was excellent. Bars and restaurants are very well chosen and we discovered an unexpected quality of food.
Quantity is much over than what we use to have in this kind of tours !

Peter gave us a wonderful day, with lovingly selected, very typical culinary delicacies. But he also accompanied us very eloquently and knowledgeably beyond the culinary secrets of Vienna, and we learned a lot of interesting and new things! What a fabulous first day in Vienna! Peter was an absolute perfect tour guide. His knowledge of history is only surpassed by his clear love for his native Vienna. He took the 2 of us all around the city - walking, on the subway, and on they tram. He introduced us to all the Vienna favorite food and drink. What a charm of a man in a beautiful city with such history and character

It was great. The guide was very kind and explained things well. The food was delicious and typical of Vienna. The experience of riding the subway and bus in the city was a great help in moving around downtown Vienna in the future. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Vienna.
