We had a great time on the train ride. Despite a little rain, Rob passed out ponchos just in time & kept the fun going. Lots of interesting info & ideas for things to do later. I highly recommend this train ride for all ages. It’s a great way to see the island while you rest your legs & enjoy the stories.

Note…. You can pay and board the train at any stop, you don’t have to pay and start at the beginning.
Our first train driver was a little hard to understand and had some what of a sing song voice, our second one spoke much clearer.
Go early and try to not ride the train in the hottest part of the day.

Would rate a 6 if possible. Went on multiple times with different guides, each with their own twist. Was fun and informative. James was especially great.

Didnt stop at the main spots - the southern most trip and Ernest Hemingway's home - we had to get off at another stop and walk in the very hot 90F sun to the two spots, view them on our own and then walk for another 20 minutes in teh heat to the next pickup spot, wait there for almost 30 minutes in the sun, since we had just missed the previous bus. The guide and tour was however well narrated.

This train keeps you right on track for an interesting way to learn about Key West. It’s very convenient with several stations where you can hop off to explore on your own, then get back on board to finish the tour. The tour guides/drivers were really good. Danilo stood out as being especially funny. If you ride more than once you’ll hear different stories and have different landmarks pointed out, so it’s worth your time to get on board with different drivers. This was a highlight of our time in Key West.

This was great fun, totally worth the price of admission. The driver was great, we saw all the cool stuff, and he made it fun.
Seats are a little cramped, but I'm 6'3", so...
