The highlight was the panoramic views of Florence from the terrace. They were breathtaking, offering a unique perspective that most visitors don’t get to see. It was a serene and awe-inspiring experience, perfect for capturing stunning photos and soaking in the beauty of the city.
The tickets also allowed us to visit multiple sites within the complex, including the Baptistery, the Crypt, and the Museum. Each site was rich in its own way, making the entire experience incredibly comprehensive and fulfilling.

We opted for the 6.45 “Awakening the Duomo” option and it was excellent. Starting outside the magnificent Duomo before the masses of tourists arrive, it feels like you have the whole area to yourself. Perfect tour guide and tasty croissant and coffee breakfast included.

Our guide, Sibilla, was outstanding! She was exceptionally knowledgeable, organized, and her English was perfect. Gave excellent explanations, and answered all questions. When it started to rain at the top, she was completely undaunted, and kept on with her presentation. She led the group very well. Probably my favorite tour ever.

This tour made it so easy and quick to get into see the Duomo. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of info. Kept us right on track getting thru the timing of the climb. Loved being able to go out on the terraces. This option was not available the last time I was there. Making it to the top was a thrill and what a view. Liked that they gave us tickets to then go to the museum, baptistery and bell tower on our own after the Duomo.

I was quite disappointed RE I was not given a complete refund gift certificate following the unexpected cancellation of my train trip to Florence (because of a wildcat train strike). I received a notification by email shortly before the trip and notified Sunday AM and was told I would receive 50% discount on future trip.

Skipping the line for the duomo is a huge benefit. The line was several hours long we we didn’t wait at all. Being able to walk in the roof and climb to the top of the dome was an unforgettable experience.

This tour was the ideal way to visit the Duomo. Our guide was fantastic and quite knowledgeable. A couple of things to note...ladies must have their shoulders covered, and short shorts or mini skirts are frowned upon. If your wardrobe does not meet the requirement, you'll have to purchase a scarf from a nearby kiosk to cover the exposed areas. If you are not in the best of health, walking up the 400+ steps may present a challenge - but SO WORTH IT for the view if you are able. Our ticket was good for three additional days if we wished to explore the tower and museum. Highly recommend!
