We did a tour last night. Wow- it was fantastic! Our guide Jason was the perfect mix of friendly, fun and knowledgeable, guiding us through the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City. He answered our questions, taught us about Vietnamese customs and styles of food. We had so many fantastic conversations about all things Vietnam over the course of the night. In addition, the food was delicious. We were treated to a real mix of dishes, all of them tasty and so different. What a wonderful way to tour Ho Chi Minh City and learn about this beautiful country and its people. Thank you so much to Jason for our experience- would highly recommend to anyone coming to Vietnam! Thank you!

Our family absolutely loved this exciting and interesting food tour. Sam and Charles were our guides and they were so kind, funny and helpful. All of the food we ate was delicious and we saw a side of Vietnam that we would never have been so adventurous to see on our own. The best way to see a city is with the people who live there and Sam and Charlie made this night so much fun. My three boys who are not that adventurous with food tried everything and loved it. It was one of my son’s birthdays and they even organised a cake for him. So thoughtful!!! We highly recommend this tour, this is a great memory we will always be grateful to have. Thank you Sam and Charlie.

We arrived in Ho Chi Minh at 1 pm and signed up for a private walking evening food tour with Robert the same day. Robert was a most fabulous guide. He accommodated our tricky dietary restrictions with ease and without any fuss. He was punctual and we felt at ease with him instantly. He was a wonderful communicator and story teller and entertained us the entire evening. The food stops were fabulous; we got to try foods we would never have chosen ourselves. We got to experience a part of Ho Chi Minh we would not have visited on our known. We recommend this tour to anyone visiting this city and in particular we would give Robert 10 stars if we could.

Absolutely amazing experience. My family and I enjoyed this tour so much that it was one of the pinnacles of our trip around Vietnam. Our tour guide was Sam, and she made sure we had a taste of what Ho Chi Minh City had to offer! Other than trying over 11 local dishes, Sam also taught us some important words and phrases in Vietnamese and taught us the dangers of mispronunciation. We also stopped by the flower market and learned how the silk from a lotus flower could be turned into a fiber, which was both fun and informative! I highly recommend booking this tour if you are in Ho Chi Minh City—you won’t regret it!

We were really looking forward to sampling the street food, and we did. But we got so much more from our evening.

A walking tour, rather than a scooter one, gave us the chance to wander through a neighbourhood, seeing restaurants, shops and stalls that we weren't able to visit on that trip, as well as just people going about their lives - talking, playing music, kids playing in the streets.

Gracie was amazing. She met us at our hotel as arranged, organised all of the transport seamlessly, guided us safely across busy streets, and kept up a conversation about the city, the food and our evening all the time. In addition to introducing us to the foods we were trying, we heard about life in Ho Chi Minh city from someone who has lived and worked there for years. She gave us timely reminders of how many dishes were left to try and wisely steered us away from ordering an entire banh mi each!

A shot of the special house-made happy water spirit was a lovely touch.

A visit to the flower market was a perfect end to the evening.

I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting HCMC especially first timers like my wife and I. Food was one of the reasons we traveled to Vietnam and this was a wonderful way to experience a wide variety of different local foods. Our guide Tanya was really great and even made sure that my wife who has a gluten allergy had gf options throughout the tour. Would definitely do again if we return for another visit!

Rob (Bob,Bobby,Robert,Roberto), our charismatic guide not only shared his humor, knowledge of Vietnam, but he also made a connection with us, making us feel welcome! He is the kind of guy you would want to spend your tour time with.
Food choices were amazing! Robert was very accommodating to dietary restrictions. We loved the variety of choices we got to try.
Robert, you deserve an award for outstanding guide. We appreciate all the dad jokes! Thank you for making our stay in Saigon so much more enjoyable!

Our guide Anna was absolutely fantastic. My shellfish allergy was handled perfectly and this was just the right blend of walking and eating timing! We have done walking food tours in other countries and often there is very long walks between locations but that’s definitely not the case here. We also got to try a huge variety of food including some dishes we had been wanting to sample. Anna was friendly, personable and taught us lots of Vietnamese words - I highly recommend her for future tours.
