Not really knowing what to expect, it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The skydive team were all very professional, confident and funny. I guarantee it will blow your mind as you cart wheel out of the plane. I highly recommend the 360 degree video. Cheers Herb, Izh and the team!

I’ll start with the pro’s. This was my first jump and we received it as a gift certificate. I felt very safe and had confidence in my instructor. The briefing video and directions given by my instructor were clear and succinct. The rush of free falling was second to none and also lasted much longer than I had anticipated! The views are spectacular, you couldn’t ask for a better location.

Sadly though, there were a few negatives which made it 3* for me. Firstly, it’s advertised and marketed as Skydive Noosa, but you go nowhere near Noosa! You do a beach landing in Coolum, some 16-17kms from Noosa. I appreciate Skydiving Coolum is less attractive, but to say ‘Noosa’ is extremely misleading. Perhaps Skydiving Sunshine Coast is more appropriate.

Secondly, I came with my GoPro and wrist mount, but was told I wasn’t able to take it as you have to have done 100 jumps to be able to do so. Fair enough. I then asked if the instructor could just wear it for me to capture the footage - no. On further questioning, they said it’s because their GoPros are already at the correct settings for their video editing software. I’m sorry, but it takes 2 minutes tops to change the settings. Even then, I don’t care about it being edited to market Skydive Australia - I just want a video of me free falling out of a plane at 15,000ft which I was more than happy to edit myself.

So I paid for the video and photo bundle, but for a staggering $179! You’re having a laugh mate. The footage is excellent, don’t get me wrong, but the price tag is so far fetched.

Conclusion: excellent jump. NOT in Noosa, overpriced photo and video packaging, unable to use your own camera

Words cannot describe just how awesome this experience was! It was unbelievable. Constant communication the day before and day off due to some weather issues early on, but come jump time I could not have asked for better weather! The team were really thorough with the training before hand and even made me feel at ease and even reduced the nerves. My instructor was Chris and he was awesome at explaining everything and making sure I enjoyed the experience without freaking out. I highly recommend the photo/video package. Make sure you tell them you purchased it upfront before you jump. The jump was such a thrill that you'll want to relive it and some people say you can forget parts of the jump because it is that good. The adrenaline of falling out of the plane was the best bit, and I was lucky to be out last, so I got to see all the others go first. It made it calmer for me, plus I also got a few more seconds in the air! View was breathtaking too. Thanks Chris and the team at Skydive Noosa! I'll never forget it and I highly recommend ticking this off your bucket list!

This is a must do. I had originally booked this location for 2 reason, the beach and they offered the ultimate photo/video package (where you get a separate videographer) and I must say this package while expensive the footage was spectacular I cannot stop watch it over and over. I might just add that you need to book this before the day ( i didnt so it was either miss out or reschedule) they went over and beyond to reorganise other jumpers so that I could get a jump 2 hours later and get this package.
Yes I had butterflies in the stomach but throughout the jump all the crew were all so supportive and encouraging - every instruction was spot on and I felt at ease. I had Eddie he made sure at every step before leaving the plane i was up to speed with what was happening. I was first out the plane and as I sat on the edge (eyes closed) - i counted 1,2,3 because 1 that way, 2 that way and 3 we went out. The free fall 1 min was it even 1 min i totally forgot as it was so exhilarating i lost track of time. The free fall i thought was the easiest. It was hooving to the ground with some side to side motions that were the scary bits. But the over all experience was the most awesomeness thing I have ever done. Book it today !!!

Thank you SKYDIVE NOOSA! Hands down the best experience ever! The whole team were welcoming and reassuring making you feel at ease prior to your jump. JIMMY you were amazing!!! Thank you for an awesome birthday experience!! The build-up from when you get on the plane and into the sky is something else then its go time once those lights flash red, orange and green. I was overthinking the exit but once you're out, you're travelling at 200kmph you're just taking it all in while getting a face massage 🤣. Landing was perfect too! It all goes so quick! Highly recommend purchasing photos and videos.

While holidaying in Noosa, the two 18 year old boys in our group decided they would do a skydive. Staff at Skydive Australia are super cool, confident, and friendly. So much so that somehow, and without much effort, they convinced ME to do a skydive. (And I refuse to do the teacup ride at theme parks as I get sick!) My instructor Luke, was as cool as a cucumber, and left me in no doubt of his experience and skill to leap out of a plane with a crazy Mum attached to his front. It was the most beautiful day, and the plane ride up to 15,000 feet in itself was worth it. Only in the second before I leapt did I wonder what I was doing, but by then, we were out of the plane. Freefalling. Poor Luke – at this point, I felt that I needed to hold onto someone, so I kept reaching back and grabbing his arms. He kept pulling me off him, and I kept grabbing him. This went on for a while, until maybe I realised that if I kept holding onto him, perhaps he wouldn’t be able to pull the cord? Once the parachute was up, it was amazing. They even let you have a go “flying” it yourself. Luke was very good and we had a lovely relaxed ride to the ground, without any spinning, so I didn’t feel sick at all. The landing was less than graceful, not sure what happened there, But, any landing is a landing, and I was happy with that. Would I do it again? I’m thinking that I just might – only I would like to be able to wear a helmet like the instructors do. (That freefall is tough to breath through with only googles on!) Totally recommend Skydive Australia. A great bunch of happy, positive (and probably slightly crazy) people.
