• Acqua Alta ( High Tide ) in Venice can cause delays in entering the Doge's Palace and the palace authority may decide to suspend skip-the-line priority, especially around the months of October, November, and December.
• Please note that if you take the 14:00 (2 pm) tour, Correr Museum will be closed before your tour finishes. Therefore, you will have Correr tickets for the next day.
• Please note that carrying any type of weapon or sharp objects, such as a knife, is not allowed for this tour.
• On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it
• Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
• Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes.
• Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
• If you choose the optional gondola ride, at the end of the Doge’s Palace tour, our guide will lead you to the pier for the gondola experience.
• There can be a maximum of 5 people on each gondola. If your group is bigger, you will be in separate gondolas.

Claire, our guide was simply amazing. She was so enthusiastic , kind and considerate and offered us a lot of valuable information about Venice .
She passed on some of her immense love for Venice to us in the tour and made our first impression of Venice unforgettable to say the least .We loved every minute of the tour .

The palace is absolutely breathtaking on the inside and outside! The artwork, artifacts, and history of it all is indescribable! A lesson to be learned.

Great experience with great guide. Loved the art work and the bridge of sighs into the prison. Unique place to visit. We really enjoyed it.

Fabulous tour with a fabulous guide who was knowledgeable and engaging. The Doges Palace is a must visit …. but the meeting point was chaotic and needs sorting out. Almost missed our tour because we were told by one guy to wait at the side and the tour left without us even realising. Fortunately he radioed thro for us and we caught up without missing more than an intro. Really recommend but get there early and check which actual operator is doing the tour so you can identify their flag/logo because Viator is the agent and doesn’t actually do the tour.

There were multiple tours occurring and we needed up in the wrong tour. Guide was a bit difficult to understand due to accent. They were nice. The pace was slow at first and then the end felt rushed. I would not recommend. I got more from going at my own pace and reading the signs.

The Doges Palace was very impressive; the guide was excellent and her knowledge was incredible . Even when we had to unexpectedly queue to enter the bridge of sighs she still had more than enough information to share and used all the extra time . She was obviously not expecting to queue and was very disappointed by this but she was very professional and gave us as much information as the time demanded without expecting us to just wait around.
