We had Joy as our tour guide today. She is exceptional. She makes sure everyone's on track and make sure everyone are informed. She is very organised and take times to accommodate your questions. She is also exceptional friendly and kind.
Mubus itself is like those no frills tour agency providing only the transportion, organising your tickets and you add on what you want (when's it's available). And, they are not pushy in selling anything on the trip. We did the tour with buffet lunch provided and we are happy with food provided and the freshness. I think they have pretty much thought of nearly everything for your comfort.
For this particular trip, there's really only praises, no complaints.

The Mutianyu part of the wall was not packed, and we were able to get photos with no one in the background. Recommend going with this tour, our guide Mike was very nice and knowledgeable. They try to sell you some stuff from their store, but you don't need to buy it if you don't want. If you pay for it, you get a nice buffet lunch. Also, keep in mind that, although they say they will refund your cable way tickets if you don't use them, they only refund full round way tickets. If you purchase the full ticket but use only 1 way, they will not refund you the other way (happened to me).

Mike has to be the best tour guide I have ever encountered. He entertained the group throughout the journey, making the 1.5-hour ride to the Great Wall fly by with his engaging stories and lively commentaries.
After the hike, we were treated to a buffet lunch with various delicious options. Mike went above and beyond by recommending additional food spots and locations to visit in Beijing, ensuring that every individual enjoyed their trip not just limited to the tour we engaged in.
Mike’s dedication to making sure everyone had a memorable experience truly stood out. Highly recommend Mubus team and of course, Mike.

Tony our tour guide was really great and explained in detail of the tour from start to finish. He took us to all the key locations and gave us suggested time and what is the best options if we wanted to explore both east and west options. I would use Mubus again. My day trip to the Great Wall was very well organised
Michael, the guide was friendly and courteous and efficient
He Explained the complicated process of visiting the war and took care of the logistics faultlessly
He kindly managed to get me on an earlier bus back to Beijing at the end

The Organisation of the tour was great. Our tour guide Leo explained everything very well on the bus driving to the Great Wall. After a nice lunch we had free time to explore the sites of the Chinese Wall on our own.

Booked a tour with MuBus that brought us from DongZhiMen subway station all the way to Mutianyu Great Wall without any issues.
Our guide Joy was really really helpful with suggesting which side (West or East) to visit first and the watchtowers to visit and are considered the landmarks of that section of the Great Wall. She is really caring and constantly checking in with us about our wellbeing and whether we made it onto the bus back.
MuBus also has cheaper food and drinks options at the visitor centre compared to other options. Really recommend booking a tour with them.

Must to do when in Beijing, although it was a super hot and busy day (major Chinese festival that weekend), our guide Mike Wang make it a fun, informative and very enjoyable tour, highly recommended!
