Our Secret Island Beach Adventure is an ideal place to relax and spend the day with family and friends and enjoy water sports and beach games. Bring your reef-safe sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes, towel, shades and a camera for a fun-filled beach day. Some activities available may include kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, beach volleyball, table tennis, or horseshoes and are available on a first come, first served basis.
In addition to activities, you can just relax and read a book in a hammock under a swaying palm tree. Showers and changing rooms are available on Secret Island so bring a change of clothes and a towel if you’re planning to take a dip in the ocean.
You can bring your own drink coolers and lunch/snacks if you want … just no glass bottles allowed … cans are preferred to avoid using single-use plastics!

The secret beach was the perfect combination for the kids. My kids don’t spend too much time in one place so it was nice they could bounce around. I would recommend for any family looking for an exciting day of trying new things. The staff was courteous and energetic.

This was perfect for what we were looking for - calm waters, safe & clean beach, lightly used, with facilities and equipment to enjoy the day. We took the catamaran tour to see Sea Turtles and it was a nice addition to our beach time.
There's lots of fine free beaches in Oahu and I'm sure that no local would ever come here, but as a tourist, most of those free beaches are: rough waters, rocky beaches, busy, and you have to bring your own chairs, equipment, etc... That's just not feasible for a lot of tourists. If you're staying at a fancy beach resort, you might have those features available to you, but we stayed at a short term rental and just paid for this experience for the day. It was worth it to have a calm, relaxing beach experience. Highly recommended for folks in a similar scenario.

We booked the all day adventure at the beach. You take a very short ride across a fish pond and arrive at the beach. There were SUP, kayaks, hammocks, lounges, swimming, Cornhole and pingpong available . You can sign up to paddle a canoe out to a sandbar and sign up for a short boat tour of the fish pond. The all day adventure at the beach includes lunch. The lunch was a chicken wrap, chips, pineapple,brownie, and bottle of water. We had the choice of half day or full day. We chose the full day. The morning group was not crowd at all and there was 20 minutes or so between groups where there was only about 9 of us on the beach. There are lifeguards, showers, and a bathroom. You meet at the ticket office at Kualoa Ranch then take a bus to the boat dock. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would do this activity again if we return to Oahu.

The movie set tour was entertaining thanks to our driver, Carlos. Loved how he was willing to take funny pictures of each family at the Jurassic set. The Secret island tour was also a great deal with all the activities included.

AWESOME experience! Wish i did the full day tour instead of the half day
There are additional activities such as turtle seeing, canoeing and lake tour ON TOP of the paddleboarding, kayaking and the corn hole, hammok, volleyball activities
You meet up at the ranch, take a bus to the lake, take a boat to the island and honestly the time flew by! wanted to stay here longer
Outdoor shower and changing rooms were a plus. bathroom was near the lake

Loves taking the boat out to the sand bar and walking around in the sand. The hosts were fabulous and very welcoming. The water was beautiful and had such a peaceful day on the beach

Perhaps due to inclement weather, not very many made reservations for the Secret Island Beach Adventure at Kualoa Ranch. We felt like we had the small beach to ourselves! We enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling (not the best), and a great time on a quick sight-seeing boat ride where we spotted a few green sea turtles! There was also volley ball, paddle boarding and other activities to enjoy on the island. There were 2 (out 3) bathrooms and ample changing booths and showers.
Tips:
1. Bring your own food - lots of tables to eat on. No stores to buy meals. What little snacks they have is quite pricey.
2. Sign up for the sightseeing boat ride. Friendly crew on the small boat makes it a fun experience - and the sea turtles.
3. Schedule your trip accordingly. Full-day, half day AM, and half day PM is available (when we went).

It happened to be pouring on the day of our tour. Even that, we were lucky to have our raincoats on to help try paddleboard, kayak, ancient fishpond ad movie site boat tour, and some other small entertainment on the island. They have a pretty good established site for all ages to enjoy different activities and games. The shelter area also helped for tourists without a raincoat that day. It could definitely be of more fun if it was a sunny dry day but could also be more crowded.

Have you ever really tried "going with the flow" at sea? Then you must try this little-known secret island tour! On the shoal two hundred meters away from the beach, lie completely flat on the sea, facing the blue sky, with the shallow sea below you, drifting carefree, or wandering in the waist-high sea. You can spend a whole day playing on the beach, and you can choose from sand volleyball, swimming, canoeing, tandem canoeing, and surfboarding...
