Our experience was excellent. Our tea server, “Minnie”, had the most wonderful demeanor and did a superb job of taking us through the entire tea ceremony. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo.

It was a beautiful tea ceremony and very educational as well. My family and I left the place feeling so good about our experience at this nice, super clean and authentic tea house. We learned a lot. The kimonos were beautiful and wearing them was a great part of the whole experience. The ladies did a great job doing my hair and my daughter’s. I know how to make better matcha now, and it was so interesting to learn about the importance of proper tea making and drinking in Japanese culture. My husband and I together with our children ( age 18 & 13) had a great time. The experience was certainly a good value for the money paid. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful experience!! The ladies help you get dressed and do your hair, then you participate in a tea ceremony for about 40 minutes. They make the men look very handsome in a separate dressing room. If you have bad knees, they will give you a stool to sit on for comfort during the tea ceremony. They are very inclusive and want everyone to feel comfortable. Excellent experience!!!

Really great insight into this traditional tea ceremony and how it’s made. We got to choose our
Kimono to wear with accessories for the ceremony. The host was really good and gave us plenty of time to take photos. There was also a garden where you could take further photos wearing the Japanese sandals. I would really recommend the his experience, my whole family looked amazing all dressed up.

We had an amazing experience. Once we arrived I got dressed in the ladies area. I picked out my kimono preference, sash color, and hair accessories. The lady helped me the entire time and also did my hair in an up do. I then went across the street to meet up with the guys who were also dressed. We took pictures in the garden and then waited for our group to be called into our room. Our host was engaging and informative. We learned the history, enjoyed our treats, and made matcha tea while learning the proper way to drink tea. Our guide had done study abroad in England and she was delightful and kind. We highly recommend this experience. It is a professional and organized event that will not disappoint.
