Hugh, the piping tour guide, was great! Dad jokes were on point and generally timed around things we were seeing or that he was speaking about! His knowledge and love for the Highlands was easy to see. We had enough time, more would have been better, but I guess that is on me and I should have done a three or five day tour.
The B&B that we roomed in, in Fort Augustus was very nice with a great selection of breakfast choices. They were prepared with fresh ingredients and wi th care from the host.
Hugh was always looking out for what was best for his tour guests. His driving was very safe, even pausing his speeches to be sure we were all safe.
I would highly recommend this tour agency and Bugh as your guide!

Heidi was marvellous and very informative and quite funny. The first day was fantastic and the scenery was spectacular. The biggest disappointment being that our trip on the Jacobite steam train was cancelled with only a couple of days notice. On contacting you to ask if we could cancel the trip as my guest only wanted to do the Jacobean train we were told we could but we wouldn’t get our money back, we would get a credit- not really fair that you can cancel but we couldn’t!!!! Anyway we enjoyed our day. The second day I would say not so enjoyable a lot of sitting on the bus. We did the Loch Ness cruise but to be honest it wasn’t worth doing if not going to Urqhart Castle - a choice we didn’t get. However I would say that not having done a bus tour before, Heidi has made me think that I might consider doing it again.

Noah and Laura were great for the 2 days of our trip. They were very knowledgeable and know the Scotland history very well. Local music during the drive and we had a couple beautiful stops not included in the trip. I highly recommend Highland Experience Tours, you will not be disappointed.

Noah and Laura showed us excellent Scottish hospitality. They shared many stories relating to Scotland’s history and the place we visited/passed by. And we have a surprise stop as well on the way back to Edinburgh. The whole trip was full of beautiful and breathtaking scenery.

A jam packed 2 day itinerary with the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teigan. Lots of stops to key historical sites where we were given information and background before arriving. Stops were well thought out not just for their convenience but also for the views and interest. Unfortunately, out of the tours control, the Jacobite steam train was cancelled but we were still able to see the famous viaduct. We had an overnight stop in Fort William, at a clean but basic hotel. Only downside we were leaving on a Sunday morning and could not get breakfast. Would highly recommended both the company and Teigan.

Magnificent views and very friendly guides but it would have been even better with a guide who spoke French because we didn't understand everything and we had no luck with the Jacobite train which closed the morning of our arrival. At least we were able to take some very nice photos.

We had some amazing drivers, who handled driving the bus safely, while also delivering fun facts and interesting history lessons on the way.
We were given enough time at each stop to look around and (of course) visit the gift shop, while also keeping it fast enough, so that we didn’t have time to get bored or arrive at our hotel too late. Which was very nice.

Alistair was a great tour guide, and very sweet. He talked a lot and let u’s PLAY out own songs, aswell as geschichte u’s histore and fun stories.
