The tour gives you a chance to see Bangkok from the street level. You’ll see everything more acutely and you’ll be more aware of the sites and sounds of the city. We felt safe riding in the tuk-tuk. The driver was very good and cautious. The guide was fantastic. Very helpful, good English, easy communication. Tried hard to make us happy. You get to choose the foods you want to eat. Use common sense. Food cooked in front of you, anything hot/steaming, busy stands are good signs. We stayed away from salads. Nobody got food poisoning. My wife got a little nauseous from the diesel fumes filling some of the streets.
Highly recommended.

Mr A was amazing and I would suggest you do this at the beginning of your stay so you learn the culture of the street food environment, this guy was the bomb you could see the mutual respect and how important to him that you knew how to find the food for you. Could not explain to you how good he was without sharing photos , which I can't do here for some reason?

We enjoyed our food tour so much and was the highlight of our trip. Ben was very knowledgeable and took us to all the best spots at the market. My Family has not stopped talking about this tour. My son loved to the Tuk Tuk and his encounter with cooked scorpions. Unforgettable experience. Ben was so fun to be around and I highly recommend her !

Excellent guide, very friendly. It wasn't just the food, it's was a fun experience during Songkran getting involved in the water fights.
Neither of us could finish all the food on offer, which was delicious.
Definitely worth the money for the experience and some food I wouldn't have had otherwise.

Mr A was the perfect fit for our evening! He was flexible when our start time and pick up location changed. He was kind and adaptable when it was only 1 person for the first part of the night and he made our experience the most memorable and fun night of our entire 12 days in Thailand. We will seek him out when we make it back to Thailand for more fun and education!!

This was a great trip and our guide was great... really funny and had an excellent relationship with the street food vendors! We mentioned that we had hoped to eat at Jay Fai and he made sure we included that in the trip to see the legend at work. Sadly we weren’t able to eat there as she’s booked up until January! However we did sample Thailand’s best padthai just a couple of doors down the street. Thanks to our guides connections he managed to get us in and grab a take away of this fabulous dish.

We were able to enjoy the best duck noodle soup, some Michelin donut cubes with coconut jam (please don’t miss the opportunity to lay your hands on some... right outside 7eleven). We had great spring rolls, bbq pork, mango and sticky rice and loads more besides. This trip was a little pricier than the others but worth every penny.

For people like me who are very particular about what they eat and where from you are in safe hands on this tour!

We had a great evening with "No 10". We travelled around by tuk-tuk to a variety of interesting places - sampling the various Thai delicacies - including Michelin rated food stalls. We went to a flower market then on to backpacker street finishing with a relaxing foot massage. All the time our guide gave use interesting background and amusing anecdotes. The night was very flexible and personalised - just for my wife and myself. We had a lot of fun!

Well where do I start? Ben was our tour guide for the evening, she was fantastic; funny, knowledgeable, fun and really easy going. We cannot thank her enough for the fun experience she provided.

We started in the market area, and had grilled baby squid; papaya salad and rice paper rolls and banana and pandan pancakes for desert - all were delicious!

We then went to china town and had some duck, and a delicious iced desert of various fruits (Nam Kang Sai), which was very refreshing in the humidity - before heading to the flower market to take in the sights.

We went to the temple (Wat Pho) for the evening reading and to learn to fold lotus flowers. Ben taught us about the traditions within the temple and we were able to sit and listen to one of the monks reading in front of an enormous statue.

We then went to Thipsamai Pad Thai to watch pad thai being cooked over a wood fire - amazing!

We had the pad thai to take away, together with some sweet coconut/pupmkin dumpling deserts (Khanom Krok I think!) and ate this in a quiet square. It was at this point we were getting a bit sad as our food tour was nearly over- and then Ben explained that we had been to the quiet of the temple, so she wanted to show us the louder side of Bangkok. We walked through an indoor market and found ourselves in the colorful and playful mayhem of Koh San Road!

We stopped for a beer to watch all the passers by, before hopping in our final tuk tuk for the night, and heading back to the hotel.

I would rate this a 6/5 if I could - fantastic experience.

For our wedding anniversary we did the evening foodtour by tuktuk. We live in Bangkok and know many places already, but this tour suprised us in many ways!
Our guide Guitar was really funny and extremely knowledgable. He leared us many things we didn't know yet, e.g. how to fold a lotusflower, why locals wear yellow clothes on Mondays and where to get the best duck in China Town. The food was superb. Try the big shrimps in China Town! The Pad Thai near Wat Saket is the best in Bangkok, without a doubt.
We did many tours in Bangkok, but this is the one we would recommend the most.
