This tour is ideal for the first or last day of your stay. The 4x4 vehicles will take you into Cerro Huyliche to discover, for 3 hours, incredible views of the town, Lake Argentino and the imposing Andes Mountain Range.
The activity takes place on Cerro Huyliche, at 1050 meters above sea level, from where the highest and most imposing view of the city is reached.
The excursion begins with the pick-up from the Hotels to then complete a journey of approximately 15 kilometers to the entrance of Cerro Huyliche where the ascent will begin. The first stop is at a natural viewpoint that offers a magnificent and unique panoramic view of El Calafate and the central body of Lake Argentino.
Continuing the ascent you will reach the Labyrinth of Stones. From there you will begin the descent down the north slope of the hill and arrive at Piedra de los Sombreros. Finally, you will return to El Calafate descending without losing sight of the imposing Argentino Lake.

We made the reservation the night before, filled out the form with the pickup information and payment was approved.
The next day, at the scheduled time, they did not show up for collection, they did not answer the emergency number, nor did they return the email sent!
The hotel reception kindly called ALL other operators to see if there was any error, and nothing.
The Gray Line is already famous for the terrible service on its hop-on-hop-off buses around the world and now it reinforces its low quality and disrespect for consumers by breaching the contract and frustrating an expensive trip that had been planned for months.
They also explained to Viator that they had not received the collection information, which is a lie, or the confirmation code would not have been generated. At least Viator refunded the money but don't book anything with Gray Line, they are not correct!

It was the only day for visiting El Calâtes and Viator forgot me I am very frustered I can’t talke at any people

Really very nice excursion, the guide was really nice and despite the fact that he didn't speak English very well, he did everything he could to make us understand the essentials.

Advised last minute that the tour was in Spanish when it stated that the tour was available in English. Do not recommend.
