• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• You will cover an area of approximately 8,5 miles (14km). The difficulty level of the tour is leisure.
• Excepting infants of less than 12 months (who cannot take part in the tour), there is no age minimum or maximum - this tour is suitable for everyone as long as you can ride a bike!
• Infants aged 1-4 years travelling on a child seat (with load capacity of up to 55 lbs or 25 kg) come on the tour free of charge
• For children aged 5-8 years a child extension (child streamliner) is provided
• Children aged 9 and above can autonomously ride on an appropriately sized E-Bike
• Are the tours safe? The answer is: Absolutely! The tours follow carefully planned routes which have limited access to traffic, and some have no traffic at all, meaning you are able to enjoy your ride around the city in total relaxation and safety and you won't have to worry about traffic

The staff of Topbike Rental and Tours are the best from front desk, to bike fitting, and ultimately the tour guides. Everyone was friendly, professional and wanted to make certain you felt welcome, and had a great tour. We had the pleasure of Arina as our guide and I cannot say enough great things about her. For the highlight, our entire family thought she was friendly, fun to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable as a guide. Equally important, she welcomed questions and conversation on Rome's history and and left no doubt that she is kindhearted person that enjoyed people, and wanted each rider to have a wonderful experience.

We did the city center bike tour, and it was amazing! We had walked a bit of the city the day before, but clearly miss so much and the tour unlocked so much more knowledge. So close to everything you want to see. Highly recommend taking this tour early in your trip to Rome to get a wonderful lay of the land.

Absolutely worth it! Walking these sites would have taken 2-3 days. We were able to learn so much and slide away to secret/hidden areas of the city only locals know how to get to.

100% must do, if you’re comfortable and knowledgeable on bikes, we didn’t break a sweat. It’s a game changer and the BEST, relaxing and enjoyable way to see Rome. Our tour guide was Valerio, his passion and knowledge was excellent! We rode 28km in 5hrs (incl. stops, photos, coffee break and Valerio speaking at every stop). This tour was just my partner and I, and made the experience the BEST. Absolutely love what we saw and did. Thank you so much. Would do this again.

You can only book the private tour with an English-speaking guide, but we were lucky that we were assigned the Dutch Klaas. It was really fantastic! A history lesson on location, by an enthusiastic guide… really great!

Highly recommended and if you book directly with them you can also ask if Klaas is available.

A private tour is not cheap, but it is definitely worth it!
