This experience takes you through a short hike in the jungle on your way down to the caverns. We walked and floated through the refreshingly cool, perfectly clear water with an able guide and photographer. We witnessed the immense stalactites and stalagmites all around us, the magnificent ancient formations were absolutely astounding. Our wonderful, knowledgable, kind (and thankfully strong) guide Mich and our photographer assisted each of us as needed. We were provided with wetsuits, lifejackets, water shoes, and helmets, as well as a tasty home cooked lunch after our cavern walk. We could not have asked for a better experience, our guide Mich patiently explained everything before and during our adventure, pointing out the wildlife we were seeing, and the ways we can help protect such treasures. Clearly Mich loves people, his job, and his country. If you go, call ahead and request Mich, you won't be sorry.

Excellent tour and we had a great guide, Fernando,
We went with children aged 5 and 7 and they were able to do the tour without any problem
The cave is 100% natural, there are no lights, the light comes from our helmets.
They give you a wetsuit and water shoes

A few days ago, i was attended by Steph and Diego at Riu Yucatan. They were very professional and polite and knew what I exactly wanted.
