Nexus is a joke. And do not use them for private or shared transportation. They lied and said that my husband and i were a no show. And then admitted the driver never came. And forced us to take a cab to the airport spending another $80 on top of us already paying for the transportation. I did not appreciate that at all. They did nothing at that moment to make it right when they f*cked up and lied. I do not do business like that. And it's a reason my previous travel agent never booked with them. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Appalling! My transportation was private for 3 people and they loaded 12 more people into the Van. They didn't give me an explanation or anything. Besides, there was a mess at the airport, no one came to pick us up at the exit, we had to ask where to find them. For the transfer from the hotel to the airport, it was worse!! A really old van arrived and 500 meters from leaving the hotel the vehicle stopped and we had to get out. According to the driver, they had disconnected the GPS in the office. If that had happened on the highway, a tremendous accident could have occurred. I don't recommend it at all!!

I would really look somewhere else. We arrived in Cancun at 8:17 pm, we were out of customs by 9:00 pm. Went outside and found the Nexus Tour people, they instructed us to stand at a certain place, We stood there and watched everyone from our plane get into vans to wisk them away to their resorts. We still remained, after several attemps to get their attention, with us being the last ones standing we were put into a van and we were on way, after 15mins of driving, I was looking out the window and realized we were back at the airport. I asked our driver what was going on, explained we paid for a private transfer, she totally ignored us and got out of the van, talked to a coworker and then he opened the side door, and insrtucted us to move over and allow 2 woman into the van, we were trying to explain that we paid for a private transfer, he was rude and told us we had no choice. they got in, these 2 woman were not even on our flight, we flew West Jet from Hamilton, they were from Atlanta. we were 4 angry people. We got to the resort at 11:30pm. The next day i went to the Nexus office on site. I explained everything that happened, he apologized and forwarded my email confirmations and receipts of payment. He than told me not to worry, that we would get a full refund. The nexr day i received an email from Nexus telling me that i did not have a private tranfer, I had to go back to the office and explain again what happened. I emailed this person with the screen shots of my receipts, and he then confirm it was and i would recieve a full refund. Three days go by and i get another email from Nexues which states that I now have cancelled my private transfer and it is my responsibilty to get the four of us back to the airport by taxi. they have closed this file. Again I have to go back up to the office and now i am so pissed, just the amount of time i had to waste to keep going up to the office. When i got there they told me there was nothing more that they can do. By the time i got back to our room to start packing, i received a voiuce mail on Whats App, telling me they have now found my reservation and they will pick us up at 4:35 the next day. After all of this they only refunded me half of what i paid, no other compensation whats so ever for all the stress they added to a vaction that was suppose to be relaxing. NEVER BOOK THIS COMPANY

We booked a private shuttle to pick us up from the Cancun International Airport and take us to our hotel in Play del Carmen. When we arrived at the airport at 8pm, we expected to be greeted by that driver as we still had an hour drive to the airport. Not only were we not greeted by a driver, but the Nexus agents at the airport were unable to secure us a driver. We waited nearly two hours for a private transfer that should have picked us up immediately. We called, messaged, and emailed Nexus and no one was able to help us. This is, without question, the worst transfer I have ever scheduled. A driver finally picked us up nearly two hours after our arrival and we made it to our hotel past 11pm. We filed a formal complaint and never heard back.

We had a Westjet Vacation package booked to Playa del Carmen, via Cancun of course. The last time we went {pre Covid} was also with Westjet but at that point, they used a different transfer to hotel company. I thought, why not, no previous experience with Nexustour and decided to give them a try. Had to ask someone for staff location and dress in order to recognise the company once outside the terminal. Easy to spot but that's where the easy part ended and the frustrating portion began. As in other reviews, I would whole heartedly agree about the dis organization in regard to this company. I had booked a "direct transfer to the hotel". It did say we may be sharing the minivan with others. I assumed "others" meant people going to the same hotel. NOT. Luckily for us, we were the first hotel in Playa that they stopped at. Others on the van were going down to Tulum, and not sure of where else the others were going. Tour staff at the Cancun airport kept telling us 15 minutes..... or "I'll go check into your situation" which went round & round several tims. Meanwhile, they were stopped by numerous other, frustrated vacationers using the same company. It was a gong show to say the least. We were ready to hire a private taxi when they finally found us a shuttle. Once we were on the shuttle, away we went. Would I use this transfer company again? NO, I should have paid attention to the other reviews. I was already concerned about the return transfer when 2 days before, they told me to check yet again , the pick up time may change. I had a conversation with one of the hotel managers and told him my concern about the timing for transfer back to the airport in time to make it through security etc. After our conversation, he took me over to the in house tour desk by the name of Discova. (in house @ Hilton Playa del carmen)The agent at the desk, "Gloria" was a treasure! We paid $106 US for a private transfer back to the airport on the day of our departure. On time, effecient, and indeed, it was a private transfer. I think they also have a website but I know there are other reputable transfer shuttle companies that have to be better than Nexustours. We waited so long at the Cancun airport for the shuttle fiasco to be sorted out, that by the time we finally got to the hotel, all the OV rooms they had were gone :( Never, willingly again, would I use the shuttle company(Nexustours) Westjet has outsourced their transfers to hotels on the Mayan Riviera Perhaps there are other, more organized encounters, vacationers have had with this company but it was our first and LAST.

Nexus provided private transportation for us from the airport to Catalonia Royal Tulum. This is about an hour and a half drive. There was some confusion on the return trip but the manager Esteban Hernández Moreno made everything right! They are very responsive in their emails and professional.

Do yourself a favor and book your airport transportation to and from in advance! Nexus website was simple to use and affordable! Juan Carlos was our driver. He was excellent. On time- drove us safely through a rainstorm and friendly. We will book through Nexus again!

This was a terrible experience. Our flight was on time and when we got out we waited for our private car which I had already paid for for 45 minutes. The two people working for Nexus told us that it will be at least 30 more minutes making it 75 minutes and they said they could not even guarantee that before our private transfer arrived to take us to our hotel. We had small children with us and it was 1030 at night. The men working for Nexus Told us we should get a cab and that they would give us a refund. They found us a cab and sent us to the hotel. The next day I asked Nexus for a refund just for the one-way that they screwed up on. They told me that I would not get a refund since I took another type of transportation. Did they want me to wait until midnight with two small children or is two hours acceptable to sit at the airport at 10:30 at night before being transferred for a private transfer I already paid. They have been very very difficult to work with. If you read other reviews you see that this type of situation happens a lot.

We booked transportation with Nexus to/from our hotel in Playa del Carmen from the Cancun airport based on our hotel's recommendation ($140 roundtrip). While our arrival was complicated with a 2-hour Mexican immigration wait, they did get us to our property. Our real problems began upon return to the airport.

After confirming our pickup location and time with Nexus staff at our hotel the day prior, we showed up in our lobby 20 min early for our transportation. When our ride did not arrive on time, we started to be concerned. 15 minutes after our scheduled pickup time I asked the onsite staff to confirm again as I ride was a no-show. The staff told me to wait a few minutes more, but they would check into it. We waited another 10 minutes with no updates, and finally was told our driver went to the other lobby at our hotel (NOT WHERE WE WERE DROPPED OFF) and refused to come the 100 meters down to our lobby as they claimed we booked that location .... we had confirmed location with onsite staff the day prior.

We were then told that we had to take an $80 additional USD taxi, as we were out of time. However, if we saved the receipt and contacted Nexus, we would be refunded for the ride and the additional costs. Reluctantly, we moved forward.

Nexus now refuses to refund anything, claiming that I had listed the wrong lobby on the form (less than 1M apart) despite it not being the location we were initially dropped at by their drivers AND confirming the location prior with the Nexus staff onsite who looked at my reservation number. It's stressful enough traveling with kids, plus the stresses of getting to a light so BE CAUTIOUS, there are a ton of other similar services that likely provide better, honest support.

0 Very bad service for private transportation. We had to wait at the airport for them to take us to the hotel and then at the return hotel they told us that they are not responsible that we have to know and that we had to pay for a taxi. sox after we have paid 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
