This was advertised as a cruise to watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. While we did board a boat, and we did see fireworks, it wasn't a cruise. We stayed in the same spot for the first 75 minutes of the 90 minute event. With 15 minutes to go, we took a little spin in the boat. It was a major letdown and should not be advertised as a cruise.

The boat travelled a very shirt distance out and then was stationary, and the commentary by the attendant was hard to hear as his WiFi connection kept breaking. But the fireworks themselves were spectacular and we were given real champagne so it was overall not bad.

Everything was exactly as described and the boat east to find, the view over Reykjavík with all the new year fireworks was an unforgettable experience and I couldn’t recommend enough!
Just make sure to wrap up warm if you want to watch from the top deck and get there early if you want a seat inside!

Memorable 2022/2023. Being on deck with the elements during the display was fantastic! Commentator very funny and staff friendly;)

i was disappointed that the boat was so small. It was packed to capacity, and we really should have been given a larger boat. In addition, the bar that we were told was available on the boat, was really pitiful
